joecheck88ParticipantDoes anyone think Brockman has a chance in the NBA? He was a McDonald’s All-American in high school. He is undersized but has decent athleticism. I think he could be like a David Lee in the league.

Hoop FreakZParticipantI think that David Lee is bigger and more versatile than brockman and plus Brockman’s only 6’7″ with limited athleticism but he could contribute to a team somewhere. He is a poor man’s version of Lee but still a good comparsion.

drew2288ParticipantBrockman is a really good player who has chance to be drafted in the late first or second round.

joecheck88Participanti knew he was smaller than lee, and i think his athleticism is decent. he did take part in the mcdonalds dunk contest in hs. how does he compare to another undersized forward with more hype in dajuan blair?

auberParticipantBrockman is a much more refined Louis Amundson. I think theirs a spot for him in the nba

jsdghifadgfuiogjkaghsdauigParticipantSince i live in seattle, I see UW games all of the time. My fav college basketball team. Brockman, has a chance in the nba if somebody gives him a spot on their team. Very polished, hard working player. He grabs rebounds like it’s nothing; auto double double man on the college level. And he has been doing this since his freshman year! His last game for the Pac-10 season title, he had 7points and 18boards. And that was an okay game for him. Really good player from good ol’ washington (look out for Abdul Gaddy from Tacoma, WA!!!!!!!!!!). Some team has to give him a chance! If not, there’s always europe! 🙂

jorrye24He isnt a good enough athlete to be an NBA player for long. He is a bully down low in college but so was just about every other undersized muscular marginal NBA frontcourt player. He should be a stud in Europe though.

sb13ParticipantPersonally, i dont he is anywhere on the same level as David Lee. David Lee is extremely athletic for someone his size, he has good lateral foot speed, and is taller. Jon Brocman is 6’7 with short arms and is limited “to say the least” in terms of defense and offense. I dont see him getting drafted, he has most likely reached his full potential. I think he will find a nice home in europe. I wish him the best of luck, hopfuly he will make the nba, but it will mostlikely be as 9th man at best.

michaelds911ParticipantI think there is a good possibility of him getting drafted, he can do a lot of the same things that Jason Maxiell does and they’re around the same size and have about the same athleticism, but I don’t know if he has the aggressiveness to do so.

edoom06ParticipantOn Brockman’s best day and with a jet pack strapped to his back he couldnt jump like Maxiell. They are not anywhere in the same stratosphere when it comes to athleticism, about the only thing they have in common is their height but Maxiell has a much longer wingspan.

michaelds911Participantif im not mistaken I specifically remember Brockman being in the McDonalds dunk contest, so his hops ain’t too far away from Maxiells, but he does have a shorter wingspan. But I can definitely see him putting up 6pts and 6rebs coming off the bench.

steve calaParticipantBrockman is definitley a good college player but I dont know if he could cut it in the NBA.

jorrye24What does that mean?! Rondo was in the three point shooting contest before mcdonalds game, does that mean he’s a good shooter??? NO, Because he’s not.

michaelds911Participanthe did some stuff an average 6’7″ PF couldn’t do

dawgman151ParticipantOk being from seattle I’m a huge fan of brockman. I think hes a tough kid without a criminal background. With that said, hes probably got a 40% shot of getting drafted, but 75% chance of making a team if hes not drafted and gets invited to summer workouts.
Honestly, brockman might be a better tightend in the NFL than PF in the NBA lol….

sb13Participantno point of arguing the athleticism of maxiell and brockman. because its not even on the same level. thats like comparing lebron and tim duncan athletically (lol overexageration). but still. i really would like to see him try out in the nfl. but whats the point, he could have a good career in europe. but…europe is having some money problems so who really knows.
good point you made, just becaues he was in the dunk contest doesn’t mean he is a dunker. and there are several 6’7 pf’s way more athletic than him. many.

michaelds911ParticipantOkay besides the athletic point, which he isn’t that far off, he can still put up 6 and 6. And when you are in a dunk contest you have to be able to dunk good, but you don’t have to be a good shooter to be in the three point contest.
