i really like this guy. he is a big strong center. he improved his conditioning so much since his senior year of high school to now. i dought he will enter the draft this year and probably not next year, but i think he will stay 3 or 4 years at carolina and be a really complete center. he is already showing signs of how much potential he has, and i think he has a lot. he has a decent jumper now and i think he will learn post moves when he is there and learn to be more physical. great long term potential.

He really moves bodies on the o-glass and is a powerful finisher. He’s got a soft looking stroke as well. I don’t think he’ll need any more than 2 yrs at UNC. He’s already a big physical presence who knows how to use his big frame. James isn’t incredibly springy, but he’s got the mass and body strength to at least be a good post defender.

he does have a nice shooting touch. high release on his shot and a strong body. if he can excelerate the developement of his post moves then wow. we are looking at a great center prospect.

It’s hard to believe he has only been playing basketball for two years.  Seems to have great natural instincts and a soft touch to go along with it.  He is going to shoot up the draft boards.

Reminds many around Chapel Hill of Brendan Haywood

somewhat of haywood. brendan did not have potential for an effective jumper though. but otherwise there are some similarities. size and defensive ability.
