There might be a few Pistons fans wondering how the $19.5mill over 3 yrs Jodie Meeks is going ?
Seems his broken foot has not healed properly. He has had to stop practicing immediately – not sure how much more time he will miss ?
He only played 60 games last season, due to a back injury

  It’s not an awful comparison but I think hield will be a better NBA player than Meeks. He is more athletic and I think has a slightly more versatile offensive game. I see him as a slightly better version of Meeks or jj redick. I see some similarities to oj mayo as well but I don’t think any of those comparisons is spot on.

He has a Jones fracture which gave Durant so much trouble last year. Just like Durant it sounds like the surgery failed to heal the bone.

JJ Redick comp is really good. I’m actually surprised that one isn’t floated around more.
Redick is the definition of a solid 2-guard. Very good shooter, doesn’t need the ball all the time, decent defender. A guy that every contending team wants. That’s what I think Hield will ultimately be. Not a guy you build around, but a guy you put around the guy you build around.
