I can't wait

Till the Knicks play against the Elite teams of the NBA with Lin at the helm. People are so hard on for another Tim Teebow story so they go to the NBA to find one.

You're calling

Lakers an Elite NBA team? Don't mistake a winning franchise for an Elite team. Lakers are struggling enough as it is, and they played Boston last night barely escaping in an overtime win.

Lakers and the Jazz are both

Lakers and the Jazz are both playoff teams.

Lakers are the best rebounding team in the league and 4th in points allowed.

How is a playoff team that's 4th in defense and 1st in rebounding not a contendor? Not to mention, they have Kobe Bryant who is looking like the MVP this season.

Only guys to score over 30 points against the Lakers this season

  • Kevin Love - 33pts
  • Chris Paul - 33pts
  • LeBron James - 31pts
  • Gerald Wallace - 31pts

Jeremy Lin has 34.

I had HUGE doubts about him

I had HUGE doubts about him as well but he passes my eye-test, personally. He's looking like a leader and playing very confident in this game. Is he going to be a star? I don't think so. He'll be a 15-8 guy when Amar'e and Melo come back though. This guy is legit.

Just ask Deron Williams about

Just ask Deron Williams about Jeremy Lin he'll tell you about him.

DWill, Harris, Wall, Fisher/Blake all different types of Pg's.

good and all

Ya hes doing good and all but although this is his 2nd year, he will hit the "rookie wall". Teams arent giving him respect eventually that will come and hell lose some confidence when his stats come back to earth. He looks like a decent player and I think the NYK system will allow him to make mistakes and still get a chance to play. I think he can play 28 minutes a night and offer some good O and half decent D, better then some points.

The Knicks are winning becuz

The Knicks are winning becuz right now, they dont have a ball stopper..But ask the 76'ers and Nuggets about how important it is to have a legit closer....

Hopefully Melo will see how

Hopefully Melo will see how well the Knicks have been playing and buy into a team concept. If he just moves the ball and saves most of his isolation plays for late in game the Knicks could still have a deep playoff run in them.

Only 4-6 elite teams in the

Only 4-6 elite teams in the league really.

Not like they've played the Bobcats the last 4 games.

Yeah NJ kinda sucks but they have DWill who's a top PG.

If you think the Jazz aren't that good not sure what to tell you. The Lakers if not considered elite still have a top 2 SG and Center. Also Gasol is no slouch and if they used him right would have much better numbers. Also every team gets up to play at MSG esp. the Lakers.

The elite team arguement doesn't really apply here.

Why becaz the Knicks have lost to the Suns, Bobcats, Warriors thats what has ruined the win loss record.

Also the close games they lost to the Nuggets, Bulls and Celtics.

The main problem with the Knicks this year has been the offense and shooting.

When you go from having 1 of the least productive PG's to 1 averaging 28 ppg with 8 asts a game the last 4 its a huge difference.

why

why do some of you people box people in, i mean seriously you say things like oh "i think he can avg 20 plus mins and be good" or he can avg this amount of points with this assist... like seriously why box people in why cant he just be a baller and when you having fun playing a game you love things come easy. not to mention when you play smart and no how to read defenses. sky is the limit imo. people have been saying things like "its only been a few games he'll come back down to earth" but they fail to realize its not just a 'hot streak' but this is his natural style of play that has him doing so well and when you have every in your corner it allows him to do what he does.

If you say you can't judge

If you say you can't judge its only 4 games then how can you say he'll only avg. x amt. of pts. or asts.
