OldSkoolBasketballParticipantHow is this guy doing in his workouts? I heard he worked out with the Knicks and some other teams. Is there a chance he gets drafted? It would be quite a story for an Asian American to play in the NBA for the first time.

NbanflguyParticipantI dont think he will get drafted, but he will definetly get a look somewhere as a undrafted FA.

memphisgriz731ParticipantHe worked out for the Grizzlies and Tony Baronie Sr., who runs the workouts, said that he looked good and will play in the NBA someday

NbanflguyParticipantThere could be 3 more ivy leaguers in the NBA if Lin, Wittman, and Foote make a team

cheesepillowParticipantHe most likely won’t be drafted, but will get summer league invites and a chance to hone and prove himself in the DL leagues from teams. It would be nice if he can make the NBA, even if it’s for a few seasons or less

cycloParticipantThere’s no reason why he wouldn’t get drafted.
He’s 6’4″, quick, talented, and competes hard at both ends.
He’d be a good player on anybody’s bench.
He compares himself to Goran Dragic and I think it’s an accurate comparison. In fact, Dragic is the player I compared him to a couple of months ago.

Leftovers16ParticipantI would love to see this guy make it from an Asian American point of view but I don’t see any teams willng to give Asian players a chance to play no matter the talent or potential I mean Sun Yue had so much potiential but no one gave him a chance unless your Yao or similiar to him it’s hard to showcase what they can do to prove themselves more useful then other players

OldSkoolBasketballParticipantbut those guys were raised outside of America so its a bit different.
