valentineWhere I see him going in various mocks he will be the steal of the draft. Most talented guard in the draft could average 25 in the league i can’t believe he is not a top 5 pick. I would take him over Bradley Beal everyday and twice on Sunday.

Jason_GrayParticipantI think you’re reaching a tad bit to think he’s going to avg. being a 6-5 jump shooter. He’s already showing some durabliity issues so imagine how it’s going to be in the league. I can see him avg 18-20 ppg but 25 ppg –no way!
You honestly think he can take the contact that will wear his body down night in and night out?

JrbenzCuse23He has all the talent and skill to. Whether he will or not, who knows. But he is 100% capable of averaging that over a season.

machu46ParticipantHaven’t you said in every thread that Waiters is the most talented guard in the draft?

JrbenzCuse23Waiters could easily end up being better than Lamb and I may have stated I have thought he is the best SG prospect but all along I have said I would probably take J Lamb over him. People act like he can’t win when they forgot how big of a part he was to their NC team. They forget how he absolutely dominated the summer games for USA before last season. And they forget that UCONN was just a trainwreck last year and you can’t put all the blame on him. He is the smoothest most explosive wing available in the draft and honestly nobody has convinced me of one thing Brad Beal can do better. Lamb has as much if not more range, he is longer, he is more athletic, he is way smoother taking it to the hole, and he is also a more skilled passer if he decided to. I just don’t see any upside in taking Beal over him unless you just want a shooter without too much else.

Meditated StatesParticipantHim and Rivers are the big scorers in this draft. I like the way he shoots off screens. Plays solid D. Playing with a good passing team would help him a lot. Would like to see him attack the basket more though. I like him as a scorer more than Beal. Beal plays a more diverse game.

B-ball fanParticipantHe has the most potential as a scorer as any wing in this draft. You just wonder if that potential will be realized. He is an extremely dangerous option coming off screens and was super efficient in college. I just wonder if he could get lost on a bad team that doesn’t use him right. I have him just behind Beal on my board, and it isn’t by a lot. For a veteran team looking for young talent, I’d say he is the top sg in the draft.

WizardofOzParticipantToo many times did I see him play like LeBron did in last year’s Finals.

topotamolderParticipantHis interviews were HORRIBLE, the worst I’ve seen in years, he couldn’t even name one of the Blazers current players in the interview after the workout, he looks like he is high and honestly he looks dumb/too laid back.
Other prospects like Rivers were amaizing in the interviews, Rivers even knew the raptors defensive scheme, player tendencies , etc. Probably others don’t give importance to things like this, but I would be scared about drafting a guy with such a poor knowledge/desire to learn about the nba like Lamb.
Plus there are some serious concerns about Lamb having a potential shoulder injury, and his ankle doesn’t look good as well, I wouldn’t be surprised if he is selected after Beal, Waiters, Rivers and even Terrence Ross

DoubleClutchParticipantI used to think all the same great things about Lamb but hes about as much of a risk as Perry Jones. Potentially, he’s top 5 talent just like Jones, though.

PulseGlazerParticipantLamb really needs an alpha presence on his team, whichever that ends up being. Lottery teams tend to lack that, so he has big bust potential.
