Jennings or Curry Knicks?
If your the Knicks who do you take Jennings or Curry I say Jennings hes more athletic and a better passer and makes awesome plays in the open court i.e. he put on a show in the McDonald's All American game and most of those plays were in fast break situations when the defense was not set and that's how the Knicks like to attack other teams.
but he most likely won't be there..curry will still be a very nice pick for them, especially since he is bff's with LeBron
Curry is a great shooter and in D'Antoni's offense, he could thrive. I like both of em but i think Curry would have a brighter future with the Knicks, and I'd be willing to bet they're also taking into consideration Curry's friendship with LeBron
i think jennings will be gone before the knicks even have a chance to get him, but if hes around i think jennings
even though i believe the knicks will almost certainly pick curry
all three of us basically said the same thing
1st off- READ MOCK DRAFT 3,0
the knicks will take Jennings if he is there.Trust.
according to reports Rubio might just stay until 2010 so that means that Jennings will rise up and be the first point guard taken so I doubt he goes to the Knicks. It all depends on the Rubio situation. Even if he were to stay I think they'd take Curry..even if Jennings is a better choice. Just the way the Knicks work.
if lebron really decides to sign with the knicks in 2010 do u really think curry is going to make or brake his decision? give me a brake, i'm sure lebron has a ton of friends in the basketball world, i serious doubt drafting curry is going to give the knicks anymore of a chance of signing lebron.
why wouldn't Lebron love Jennings he could be a star that commands double teams Lebron has never played with another player like that with Lebron Curry would be the new Mo Williams. At first I thought Curry was the pick but the more I look at tape on Jennings hes a perfect fit for NY uptempo style because his playmaking ability is off the charts.
on jennings ability to shoot the 3. If he proves in workouts that he can shoot the ball than i think the knicks will have a tough decision, but as of now i think the jrue holiday is higher on their board cause he can play defense something they need
It is possible that Curry may not last that long. I will say this though with the way the top of the drafts looks some people will fall and I hope Knicks get Curry because he is a perfect fit for their style.
i think in a few years under d'antoni curry would have stats kind of similiar tu nate robinson this year maybe 4 or 5 more points but not amazing assistnumber and jennings could have stats more similar to steve nash depends on how much both players want to work and involve their teamates
Jennings is not that great of a shooter and also in Mike D offense one player does not have to dominate the assist but with someone like Nash you wanted him to have the ball. Also Knicks need more quality shooters. This is something Jennings is not. Also Curry is an underrated passer. Look him up. There are some passes and plays that show that you have a playmaking vision and Curry has it. I would say his level of playmaking is on a Bibby level right now and that is not back company plus he makes better judgements than Jennings. Jennings is the better passer and better athlete and in all honestly the Knicks would do well with either on but I think Curry has the age with his shooting. His game is more suited for the Knicks style than Jenning and even Rubio to be honest even though I am sure if Knicks could get Rubio they would.
I think Curry is the best point in this draft. I think if you need one and don't take Curry you are rolling the dice. That kid will do so much damage in pick and rolls it's hysterical. If he goes to the Knicks yall better not BOO cuz you just got a steal that late.
Only time will tell but I will make a wager with anyone that Curry will be nothing special in the NBA. He played mediocre point in college with sub-parr defenses and a terrible conference. He is a slow undersized 2guard with zero strength. He will be an ok bench scorer but thats it. NBA teams will be able to put a much bigger defender on him because he lacks great quickness of athleticism and he wont be able to chuck up his shots over them.
Jennings is nowhere near the shooter Curry is but he has all other aspects of the game you could want in a PG. Curry cant even begin to compete with Jennings in anything except shooting. If I'm an NBA team I'd rather take a chance on the #1 ranked highschool player to come out last year over a player who does not have a position.
I hope we trade down for Chicago's 2 picks or Minnesota's 2 later first rounders and get any 2 of these players;
James Johnson, Jrue Holiday, Terrence Williams, B.J. Mullens
if Jennings and Curry are still available i would say Jennings but i think the knicks will take Curry because of lebron.
