This game is exciting going back and fouth. Both teams are playing with a good flow 6 or 7 dunks alone in the fist quarter. And it’s not all from the Clippers either.

The Clippers have become my least favorite team in the league. If they play the Heat in the finals (and I’m not counting on this), I’m becoming the biggest LeBron homer on this site.

I just think they are severely overrated and a fluke team up to this point and get way too much credit. They are small all throughout their roster have no legit backup bigman depth and their primary bigs are not good MAN defenders. All this combined they have played a large majority of games at home and haven’t really been tested on the road yet where they are already bad. They’ve had nice wins, but I just think they had an incredibly hot start shooting the ball, I doubt this type of shooting continues throughout the season.

It’s funny how people don’t start hating a team until there’s expecation and hype behind them.

    Sad.

My comment… Put down the haterade.

@Indiana I don’t hate on any team, not even the Heat, I actually like watching them now. I simply feel the Clippers are a fluke team, take that how you want.

    I was commenting to butidonthavethemoney.

I think it’s sad just to hate a team because now they carry themselves with swagger, confidence, a little arrogance and now there’s expectations/hype around them.

It’s one thing to say the team won’t be good because they lack this or that, but to just hate them for any other reason is drinking bottles of haterade.

I don’t think LAC will win the title or anything, but I think they have a legit shot to host a first round series and get out of the first round depending on the matchup.

I don’t think the Clippers are overrated at all. Overhyped? Maybe alittle. I dont get why this team being exciting, and having that swagger about them makes them unlikable. They have beaten alot of very good teams already, including thrashing OKC the other night. ESPN loves them a little too much, I’ll be honest, but honestly ESPN has been on Blake’s nuts since last year. They have 2 top 10-12 players in the league. By my last check, Miami and OKC are the only two other teams to say that. And neither of those squads has the depth behind them that the Clips do. Love them or hate them, the Clips are legit. And they are a K Mart signing away from looking like a pretty darrn complete team.

Never said they aren’t good. Never said I hate them. This has nothing to do about hype and expectations.

Hating to me, involves dumping on somebody’s opinion simply because one disagrees with it.

No. The Clippers are my least favorite team because I don’t like them.

If I were to make a list of the 30 teams in the NBA and rank them by how much I like them, the Clippers would be at the bottom.

I don’t understand why this concerns you, or why I should have to explain it.

Exactly like I thought lol. No legit reason.

Anyway… How about G-Money? Mo tried to punk him. Way for him to respond. Two free-throws and a tough shot.

people in so cal are making me hate the clippers. I honestly never saw them as rival or had any beef becasue they weren’t and there was no reason to. But now that they are making moves and challenging the lakers, i cant stand them. I would still root for them vs the heat, but thats about it. But there are TONS of laker fans who are actually feeling the clippers right now, showing them love in los angeles talking about how they support all local teams even though they been with the lakers for decades. Personally that attitude makes me sick.

It’s just my personal opinion. I’m not trying to justify it or make anybody feel the same way. I could explain it, but there would be absolutely no point.

But since you seem so intent on attacking me, I’ll make you a deal…

If you can explain to me why I should argue with you over this, I’ll happily share my reasons for not liking the Clippers.

They have the best PG in the game, a serious veteran leader in Chauncey, a solid veteran in Caron, arguably the best (and definitely most exciting) PF, one of the top centers behind Dwight and Bynum. Not to mention Mo Williams who can do damage from the bench, and Randy Foye who is a contributor all around. Not very deep, but a very solid 7 who can compete. Why is there a reason to hate? They are exciting as hell, competitive, and a signing away from being a major contender. Not there yet but very close.

apparently. I mean we have tons of legit fans as well, but i dont think the hate has built up. Its all "yeah im still a lakers fan first and foremost, but did you see what the clippers did last night? I hope those guys beat so and so next". I say hell naw. Shame on cp3 for trying to take Kobe’s town

I’m really happy for the Clippers they have had one of the most miserable histories of any franchise in all of sports and now they have finally put it together and become not only relavent but a true threat to bring hardware home.  Reminds me of Rocky IV, If I can change you can change.  Now I am changing my whole life because I know it’s possible all because of the Clippers.

The Jazz remind me of the Nuggets.

Just a complete overall team. No superstars, but they play good team ball and get good efforts from everyone.

    I root for this team.

Gosh Favors has been bad in this 2nd half. They have alot of potential to get better too, but I find it counter-productive that they used the D Williams trade to get a young Power Forward and a young Center when their two best players are a Power Forward and a Center.

Yea, but if you had no problems with onions until everybody else started hyping them up… That’s kind of weak.

Just wanted to know what made them *become* your most disliked team in the league this season. It’s not a big deal.

    Moving on…

I’m convinced that Chris Paul is the most amazing ball handler in the NBA. You can’t take it from him and you can’t make him pick up his dribble either.

Yea CP3 has owned this fourth quarter. As a Bulls fan, I try to be as unbias as possible, and D Rose has had soome tough games lately. But I still remember their head to head showdown this year when Rose dominated him in crunch time. Still give D Rose slightest of edge.

It really had nothing to do with hype. Blake Griffin was one of my favorite players until he showed up a ref after a dunk earlier this season. That (along with similarly insignificant reasons) has lowered my personal opinion on the team. You might not think it’s a good reason, but you don’t have to. It’s simply how I feel towards the team.

Utah still has a chance to pull this one out, but Chris Paul is unconscious.

When they faced off head to head, that wasn’t the case. And Rose has ALWAYS owned him head to head. And Rose has been to a Conference Final, CP3 hasnt. And Rose stays healthy, CP3 over time has not.

    @F_DA_PO

Are you saying that because of the most recent game versus Miami?

Because if so, you need to know that Rose was perfect from the FT line in 4th quarters this season before the game vs Miami.

I think both players are clutch. I really can’t say who’s more clutch than the other.

CP3 vs Rose is just a matter of opinion about what you want your PG to do. Same as Kyrie and Rubio, pass first or be a slasher. IMO overall it depends on the coach and team mates which makes either better.

Ever since the Allstar Slam Dunk shananigans Blake pulled off with the stupid KIA advertisements I have been extremely annoyed by him and his banwagon of indoctrinated fans, but I have to say I love watching him play. With that said he is very overrated and overhyped. Although I do love watching the Clippers play, I feel the same way as NoMoney.

Paul gets sent over there on some BS trade which was settup by the league, Bllups gets waived and somehow ends up a Clipper, they squeeze Butler into the mix, and all this while resigning Jordan to a huge contract. Only a savvy/sleazeball buisnessman/conartist can appreciate how this team was assembled.

Put the most exciting player on a rookie contract on a team with the best pure PG in the game, arguably the most athletic C in the game, a former finals MVP, and some great role players and that gives you one of the most excting teams you can possibly watch. Put that team in LA and you have tons of PROFIT. As the lockout shows all the league cares about is profit.

Yes I know it is all setup, sports entertainment distracts people from there missions and keeps us staring at a box for hours upon hours but the product they put out there is so good I cant keep my eyes off it, the games are just that exciting. Now Im gonna go find that Perkins poster and let saliva drool down my sweater while my mind numbs to the sweet sensations of basketball.
