White ChocolateParticipantFirst off, I really believe that the Jazz are going to take either a power forward or a center with the #9 pick just because Boozer is probably leaving and Okur is injured. They might surprise me and take a wing like Henry, Hayward, or Babbitt, but I really don’t think that they will. I have came up with three scenarios that could potentially happen on draft day that would have the Jazz taking three different players.
Scenario #1:
Wall goes #1, Turner #2, Favors #3, Johnson #4, Cousins #5, Udoh #6, Monroe #7, Aminu #8, in this case I believe that the Jazz would take Ed Davis.
Scenario #2:
Wall goes #1, Turner #2, Favors #3, Johnson #4, Cousins #5, Monroe #6, Davis #7, Aminu #8, in this case I think that the Jazz would take Ekpe Udoh.
Scenario #3:
Wall goes #1, Turner #2, Favors #3, Johnson #4, Cousins #5, Udoh #6, Monroe #7, Davis #8, in this case I think that the Jazz would take Cole Aldrich.
There are countless number of ways that the draft could go, but these are three scenario’s that I think are most likely to happen on draft day. All three players are good fits for the Jazz. I believe that the Jazz are higher on Udoh than Aldrich which is just my opinion that is why in scenario #2 when Udoh and Aldrich are both available I have the Jazz taking Udoh. Scenario #1 seems like the most likely. I really would like to see Davis, Udoh, or Aldrich in Jazz uniforms in that order, if any one of those guys get drafted by the Jazz on Thursday I will be happy. Thoughts?

the27guyParticipantDidn’t you read my epic Jazz thread?

That has all the answers to your questions. It’s a done deal, we’re signing Boozer and drafting Babbitt.
Now go to bed and don’t worry any more.

SwatLakeCityParticipantId rather take Ed Davis. I have officially jumped off Udoh’s bandwagon and am onto Davis’. I am still worried that Aldrich is just Ostertag 2.0 I still have my doubts about Babbitt playing D. And 27guy, Jazz have no idea if they will be able to resign Booz or not. They will select a 4 or a 5 just in case they can’t, and will pass on Babbitt if he is still available. But honestly I expect the Clippers to take him at 8, because Aminu is gone at 6 to the Warriors (no more Magette, GSW needs a 3) Remember the Clips are also in love with Babbitt just like we are. They pick before us, so if Aminu is gone which I expect him to be then Clips will take Babbitt and we will pick Davis just in case Booz does leave.

butidonthavemoneyI like Udoh and Davis, but I’ll take Aldrich over both.
My Epic Jazz Topic was better, you idea-stealer.
