Who is the more promising prospect?

It seems to me that Jaylen Brown is the closest physical specimen prospect on the wing to Andrew Wiggins, and I’d never thought I would say this during brown’a explosion to stardom over the summer but I’m really high in him, and I think he looks like the more promising prospect if you compare him to a 17 year old wiggins.

Though his jumpshot is not as consistent as Wiggins. Plus, he turns it over WAY more than Andrew did. Brown guy is a beast on the boards and he does have some vision. Absolutely will live at the line and he has some swivel to his hips, his handle is not bad. Still, the sloppiness with the ball is pretty noticeable, had a few people bring up just how much Jaylen turns it over/loses the ball.

What people forget about Andrew Wiggins is just how incredible he was athletically. Yes, he is not as well built as Brown, though it did not stop him from being versatile enough to defend a Julius Randle in HS or guard the perimeter in college. Andrew may play a bit too straight up, but his speed at his size is so damn special. Think he is absolutely faster than Jaylen and while he is 20 pounds or so lighter, that speed should work in the league quite well.

Brown had just about as nice of a summer as one could have and is at the point where he is in the legitimate discussion for being the best player in 2015. Think Ben Simmons does edge him out, with his ball skills and vision, plus size, being ahead of that of Brown. Though Brown is a more explosive athlete and certainly has plenty of ways to score.

I think people sleep on just how awesome Andrew Wiggins was (and is) as a prospect, though Brown at least has put himself in the discussion with his dominance over the summer circuit. Looking forward to hopefully seeing him again in Portland, this time hopefully with Ben Simmons. I just know that Andrew Wiggins will be hard to beat as far as prospects are concerned.

at same age he may have been better then wiggins brown has a natural feel for the game and eveb some pg playmaker in him. wiggins has gotten by on athletics for a long time his handle is still shaky brown has the ability to get the lane with dribble pen now AND FINISH WITHOUT FALLING TO THE FLOOR OR HAVING TO DO THE SAME OLE SPIN (wiggins)

where wiggins lacked killer instinct brown shows at young age with a middle eastern agression to aau circuit of the western. straight terriost around the baseline .wiggins never showed agression like that

i like brown more as a prospect. he’s got the better build. he’s naturally stronger and more physically imposing, so he has the advantage in terms of playing through contact, creating space, not being bodied on offense, etc. he’s more aggressive as well. he makes his share of mistakes, but they are mostly errors of commission, not omission.  i don’t think you’d have to worry about him floating in and out of games. as mentioned, brown actually makes plays for others too which wiggins doesn’t and never has.

Skill wise you can make a list of guys who were better than wiggins at the same stage, but if you add skill and potential then you’d be hard pressed to find a prospect (excluding TMac and LBJ) who was/is better at the same stage
