Brown to go around 8th or 9th or 10th in the 2016 NBA Draft but I liked the Celtics taking him #3 overall.

I’m a Lakers fan & I luv Brandon Ingram, I think he’s going to be something special but let’s be real, just like 2015 with KAT, 2016 was really all about 1 guy as far as possible Super Star

I think Ingram is going to be a perennial All Star & I luv our young team. And I think the Celtics made a Very smart decision taking Jaylen Brown over Kris Dunn, Jamal Murray, Buddy Hield & Chriss who were more hyped.

I think all those guys will be very good starters but other than Simmons & Ingram I believe that Jaylan Brown had the Highest Upside on the NBA level. I really believe the Celtics have to cash in on these Nets picks. Imagine if the Celtics get the #2 pick this year & land Markelle Fultz & let’s say they get the #1 pick in 2018 & they land Super Star DeAndre Ayton

There is your Big 3 right there. Brown is an Explosive Wing, Fultz is a Dynamic #1 (PG) & Ayton looks like KG 2.0. If that happens, you have to put Boston right there with Phila & Minnesota (our Lakers & the Milwaukee Bucks are prob just behind the T-Wolves & 76ers as far as young, exciting, cores go). I’m praying this does Not happen but it gives Boston fans Real hope for the Future.

Nerlen Noel is in trade talk and rumors all the time. So I think the writing is on the wall he is  going to be gone sooner or later. I think Celtics should take a shot with him give up Marcus Smarts who is expendable bench player, and add later pick or picks they have.

The 76ers can’t expect to get a block buster deal with such a young player with health questions and perhaps skills questions. I’ll buy low on Noel if they are selling.

I’m passing on Noel at this point. Celtics need to talk with Dever and try to shake loose Jokic or Nurkic

Celtics have their fill of PG’s: IT2, Avery, Smart, Rozier. A center would be nice, but unless one emerges at the top of the draft, a PF like Harry Giles would be a a way to go. I think Rozier is the future PG, despite the play time.

I think a lot of teams have an eye on Noel, his stock is really low atm. The Warriors looked awful today against the Lakers giving up everything in the paint, I bet theyve even considered taking a shot at getting him. Jaylen Brown looks like he was the pick. A bit of a surprise going 3 at the time, but Boston should be happy. Will be interesting to see who they eventually get when they cash in these assets.

He’s a bully around the rim, even in the NBA as a rookie. I expect him to be terror on the fast break once he gets comfortable in the L

We got a good glimpse of his potential. Stevens does not just start people to develop them either, just ask Marcus Smart. So Stevens clealry trusts Brown already. For a young guy that is impressive. I for one as a Celtic fan was happy to get him. I love athletic wings. I want to develop through the draft. This is a huge piece for the future. Once Brown imprves his finishing ability at the rim he will be a force to be reckoned with. He fudges some easy layups right now and that can’t happen.

Brown in some ways is in a good situation being on a win now team at a successful franchise, having good locker room leaders to learn off etc. But the flip side is Boston expects to win many more games than Lakers, Philly, Suns etc so Brown will be under pressure not to make mistakes and be expected to contribute to games at crucial times.

The fact that he is already starting shows Brad Stevens must rate him as it’s not like he can just be played to give him experience as lottery teams might be able to do.

Jaylen’s draft stock went from 3 to about 10 across last season and I was pleased Boston took a chance on him.

I am not a fan of Jaylen Brown especially as a number 3 overall pick
