Sullinger in my mind is sliding a lot lately. Even in todays game against Michigan St he’s taking forever to start his moves outside or inside. So help defense is absolutely killing his effectiveness, but even when he does get position and the ball quickly he doesn’t have the elevation to get over Adrian Payne (who incidentally has 4 blocks already). The only place Sullinger has been effective has been is on the boards grabbing rebounds…  Buford is the only player keeping Ohio St in the game so far…

"i seriously don’t know what to do with sullinger in my draft. i don’t know how successful he’ll be in the nba. he scores a lot by something like overpowering in the post, awkwardly jumping(barely) into the defender and hooking it in, not smooth at all. i know there are un-athletic successful players like him but im not completely sold on his offensive game translating to the league. still top 10 tho.

im not a fan of average sized pf’s that are not fit, not athletic yet scores by overpowering the defense, plays average defense with average wingspan. i don’t see a top 5 pick… at least his jumper shows some promise!?"

He gets blocked so much its crazy. He plays below the rim and is just to soft to handle the NBA game.

He got blocked twice while I was writing these once by Green and once by Payne.

Him and PJ3 both should have left last year.

I struggle to compare him to bigs who play below the rim in the NBA. He’s just not a Zach Randolph esque player.. He tries to play like Shaq.. He’s really hardnosed though so in my opinion he will grab boards wherever he ends up.. But can he score, I doubt it.. Will a Dejuan Blair impersonation be his ceiling? Or is that too harsh?

Agree with everybody so far.  Like B Free said, gets blocked ALL THE TIME.  It takes forever to gather himself after an offensive board it’s painful to watch sometimes.  Elton Brand has a similar game, and he did pretty well for himself early in his career, so maybe there is some hope at the next level.
