To be fair if you did say that last year you had nothing to base it on. Maybe you were going by his size and length or is former high school talent and accomplishments, but he had three years to show that he belonged in the NBA and his best season was 6.8ppg and 3.1rebs, So if you got called crazy last year it was the right call because he had shown nothing until this season. Maybe you’re a genius and you saw what no one else could, but even than he still wont be drafted.

He is 6-8 with a 40 inch vertical and one of the best strokes in the country. He will certainly be drafted, and anybody who can think outside the box and watched Syracuse should know that. I wasn’t taking a big leap last year when I said it but nobody on this site has any imagination or original thought. Bet if this site threw him in their first round you would all be on his d*ck. guarantee it actually

Being 6″8 with a nice vertical and a nice shot definitely does not guarantee a spot in the NBA draft.

also pair those things with production ^ and it definitely does… 19.2 ppg, 4.4 rpg in just 26 mpg

I was also one of the few that said that I believed he could be an NBA player. I doubt he would have been drafted before this year, but he seems to have finally put it together.

Last year, I said that with his size, athleticism, and shot, he should be an NBA player. However, the main things working against him were that even though everyone in Syracuse knew he was a great shooter, he didn’t shoot the ball great once we started playing against legit competition. He also couldn’t dribble to save his life, and outside of defending the inbounds pass on our rare press last year, he didn’t do anything for us defensively.

This year, he’s finally shooting it well consistently, while he won’t beat you off the dribble, he can at least dribble a little bit, and his defense has improved big time. I think he’ll get drafted.

He reminds me of James Posey.

Looks like the national 6 man of the year once again goes to Syracuse
