mikeyvthedonParticipantOne of the reasons I am glad I am in Canada is that I rarely have to see Skip Bayless on television. His opinion to me is usually a non-factor. He is the internet troll of television.

scott3210ParticipantWho would win in a 1v1 basketball game, Skip Bayless or Dana Jacobson?

paradigmnParticipantI am on a live chat with Paul Biancardi right now….did you ask him this question??? When I saw it…I was like thats MY BOY!!!…was it you???
Michael V. (Toronto, Ontario, Canada)
Paul, besides Shabazz Muhammad and Nerlens Noel, do you feel there are any likely "one and dones" in the class of 2012 that would be legitimate lottery prospects in the 2013 Draft?
Paul Biancardi
(3:23 PM)Besides those two and a lot has to go right for these players but Baylor C Isaiah Austin has tremendous potential. Steven Adams at Pitt, Kyle Anderson at UCLA and Anthony Bennett also have a chance. They will need to develop in college and show they belong. But they have the tools to get it done.

UNCbasketballbumParticipantSkip Bayless is a dickhead and his knowledge of any sport is non-existent.

mikeyvthedonParticipantYeah, did not really use any alias, so pretty easy to pick me out, lol. Did not know he answered it. Cool stuff. Pretty standard answers and I am not sure I agree with him, but cool stuff. I actually sent another one about Andrew Wiggins re-classifying, but I guess he just answered that (sent it last night I believe).
Those seem to be the standard answers and the better players in this class, but again I am not 100% sold on Kyle Anderson or Anthony Bennett being one and done. I really do not know what position they both play at the next level and I have not seen incredible shooting skill from either. Bennett must have been tired during the Hoop Summit and his three over Nerlens Noel was sick, but still am unsure he just slides over to the 3 spot.
As far as Austin and Adams, will be interesting to see how they adapt to college. Isaiah is a tooth pick, who should do just great at Baylor, the place that makes soft players softer (sorry for the hard attitude, just call it how I see it). Steven Adams has upside as well, but I am guessing the college game will take time for him as well.
My answer at this point would just be Muhammad, Noel and Steven Adams. Alex Poythress looks like a potential beast too, was disappointed he was not on the Hoop Summit roster. Probably could have really helped out, he at least has prototype size for being around a 3 or 4. Still, not very high on this class and believe the more time they spent in college, the better it would be for their immediate pro impact.
Para, I remember you were very high on McGary. Can’t judge as he was indeed a very well thought of prospect for quite a while, but I was not really impressed. All of this "Tyler Hansbrough with more offensive ability" stuff that was floating around kind of boggles my mind. Know Mitch was not there, but see any practices at McDonald’s? In my mind, this Hoop Summit team may have missed a few of the best players in this class (Rodney Purvis comes to mind). Still, a majority of these guys were well thought of amongst there peers, which does not bode well for their NBA futures in my mind.

paradigmnParticipantWhat can I say…I’m white….when I see a white player with potential…I might get over excited…lol…definitely not as high on Mcgary as I once was…especially after I saw him play in person a coupe times….but…atleast I was right about him making making a HUGE leap in the rankings for his senior year.

Chilbert arenasParticipantNot a Skip Bayless fan at all but Jalen is one of the worst NBA guys on ESPN, he lacks professionalsim and sounds like either a robot or an idiot and doesn’t get his facts straight half the time.

mikeyvthedonParticipantI am white too, but I tend to stick a guys game instead of his race, though I am sure you were kidding around. He definitely made a big jump, but he had a nice sized fall afterwards. Seems like a long term college guy, even with the age. Still, he is 6’10 and 260, not a horrible athlete.
Saw next to no long range game to speak of (he was honestly just throwing up brick after brick outside of a couple feet), but I would not mind him coming to my school. Don’t expect the guy to turn the program around, but Michigan should be just fine. Heard that Glenn Robinson III looks great, should be a possible wing guy with Trey Burke and Tim Hardaway Jr. back. Nik Stauskas is also pretty highly thought of, not to mention Jon Horford is hopefully back from injury. I know the Wolverines lost some transfers, but things are looking pretty decent for that program.
I never really saw any write up by you for McDonald’s. You went to the game, right? Did not get a chance to watch it, though I read the write-ups and just heard people saying much of the same in the lack of star power in 2012. Think that 2013 will be much better and I like a lot of players in 2014 as well. Hard to say at this point if 2015 will compete with those two classes, though they certainly have a lot of talented young guys. One thing I know is, this class seems to be a pretty down year. Think that the 2012 Class has the least depth since 2005, which still produced some NBA guys, but not a lot of star power.

The Scare Crow ReturnsParticipantI actually like Skip Bayless for not sounding like an ESPN puppet…Unlike Jalen Rose and Company…
BTW, I never knew Skip was claiming to be a great Player…Not suprised someone would call him out on that but what the did Jalen Rose ever do that was so special???
He was a talented scorer but did he really ever live up too his own potential, I don’t think so…
Picking on Skip Bayless is like picking on the slow kid at school, It’s way too easy and just makes you look like a Douche Bag…

mikeyvthedonParticipantNever claimed to be otherwise (I am Jewish, but think I am white). If you click on my profile, you see a picture of me. The guy I have in my avatar is De’Anthony Thomas aka The Black Mamba (before Kobe Bryant was so given the moniker). He is coming off of an incredibly impressive freshman year as both a runner and receiver for my alma mater, University of Oregon.
So, Deez, are you actually "Nutz"?
