 I’m watching the Wichita St. vs Illinois St. game in the MVC conference tournament, and I must say I think Jackie Carmichael has pro potential.

He’s a big guy at 6’9” 240lbs and has showcased very solid in game athleticism.  The replayed a shot, in which he blocked a shot and his head was just a couple inches below the rim.  He’s kind of a bruiser forward, and a really productive rebounder.  He’s a 4 year guy, like most MVC players, but watch out for him next year.  13.4 ppg 9.5 rpg and a 70% FT shooter in his Junior season.  Potential 2nd rounder in 13.

Great finish, and WSU is a very good team. It was a mixed bag for me, I usually cheer for WSU, but Janovich is a former KU assistant, so I was a little back and forth, lol.

 I’ve followed Alec Brown this season, to see how he’s improved.  The guy really needs to gain weight, but if he does, I think he could be a legit pro prospect.  He’s only a sophomore and he did the Amare or the Lebron camp last summer so that indicates he’s committed to playing at the next level.
