He officially declared, but will not sign an agent.

    Mistake or not a mistake?

not a mistake, he didn’t hire an agent so it doesn’t even matter.

I think it was a good decision. I think he could be a good back up energy guy like Nate Robinson when he played for the Celtics!

I don’t know what else he could prove by coming back to Washington.  He’s still going to be 5’9” 185 next year which is his biggest knock.  I don’t think it’s a bad move for him, I just don’t see him being a very high pick this year or next, if he were to come back.

I think he’s an early/mid 2nd rounder no matter what year he declares

I would not be surprised to see him come back to UW when all is said and done though.

not a mistake because he didnt hire a agent. what can he prove by coming back you say, Look at what Kemba Walker did after coming back. Not saying that will happen but it is possible that he rasies his stats next season in the same manner

doesnt matter or hurt to test the waters by not hiring an agent he mite have a great work out for a club and get drafted higher then expected if not he can always go back to school

I hope he comes back and gets the pac-12 title. I love his style of play for how small he is. I agree how he’ll be like a Nate Robinson

I like Thomas as a prospect & possibly as a 1st Rounder, but what would his role be in the NBA on a Top contendending team, because he is a pure scorer. He never looks to distribute the ball. I honestly see him as a better player than Nate Robinson. I am all for Thomas leaving to open up that spot fulltime for Gaddy.

I think he’s just testing the waters, since he’s a junior anyway. But the way I look at it, why stay in the draft if you know for sure your going to be a second round guy. Although you may think its unlikely, there’s always the chance of going in the 1st the following year, you never know. And there’s also all the other stuff involved (enjoying your senior year of college, graduating, going to a final 4 maybe etc) that may make it difficult to leave to be a 2nd rounder w/o a guaranteed contract fighting to stay on a roster.

if he were 6-1 he would be a lottery pick. The lack of height is his only big weakness. Also not sure if he will show nba range on the three right away.

But, I thought I would actually save that for when he officially declares and hires an agent. Also, Rudeboy_, you are no Henny Youngman. Just so you know, your one liners add up, and add very little. If it takes you 20 seconds to read them, well, I understand why you dislike reading my posts. MIKEY V the don.

worst record is gauranteed no worse then 4th. The lotto only decides the top 3 picks, after that it all goes by record. SO if the worst team doesnt get one of the top 3 picks, then they select 4th.

I hope that he comes back, which he probably will Washington will have one of the best backcourts in the nation with Thomas, a healthy Abdul Gaddy who just got injured when he was making majorstrides and newcomer Tony Wroten. Also with Ross and Wilcox will have great depth

He could get a team that think he can be Earl Boykins like off the bench and give them some solid scoring and energy.
