 Another great game. But if Niang was in this game ISU would be dominating right now. Kane is doing everything, including playing with 3 fouls with 18minutes left in the game. But Hoiberg really doesn’t have another option since this offense would collapse without his playmaking. 

For UNC, Meeks appears to be a rich man’s Sean May. He should be a stud next season. McAdoo is the same enigma as always. Tokoto is an incredible athlete, and their best player after Paige.

 Yea it sucks that UNC didn’t get a chance to hoise a last shot. But honestly, the right team won. ISU was missing their most talented player and simply willed this win. UNC had the numbers and size in this matchup, and they just couldn’t play with consistency. 

Not to mention Hoiberg is an aboslute G. He had a cool head and IMO seriously outcoached Roy Williams

The ending was justified the clock didn’t even start when the Carolina player touched the ball … should have called timeout when Kane hit that shot ….. maybe draw up a play for a full court heave and potential game winner or tie

If you watch the replay the clock didn’t stop immediatly after kane hit the shot.  There should have been 2.1 seconds left instead of 1.6.  And if you all don’t think Roy was screaming for a timeout right after the shot yall are tripping.  The refs should have granted him the timeout right away.

That being said this game would have even been better with niang and johnson playing.  What an effort by both teams.

Roy should have gone zone the last play and put Hubert (a great shotblocker) right in the middle.  Johnson would have had a field day against the smaller isu team and would have eliminated the fact that macadoo didn’t show up (surprise).  Not his best coaching game, but one of his best seasons coaching considering they had a very unbalanced and depleted team.

With Berry, Pinson and Jackson coming in next season.  Look for them to be a top 10 team next season.  Jackson particularly should help give UNC a consistent second option behind Paige.
