The Scare Crow ReturnsParticipantKevin Love/16th and 23rd for Roy Hibbert and the 10th overall pick….
Pacers get PF of the Future and get two picks they could use on Eric Bledsoe and Gordon Hayward respectively…
T’Wolves answer the log jam at PF and get a good center to complement Big Al and get another top ten pick …the 4th and Tenth pick could be used in a few ways…
Keep the picks draft Monroe and Donatas( Two long and talent bigs in the Triangle) and try to sign young wing in FA…Monroe and Hibbert together again with a young Euro overseas and Big Al on the block…Ricky/Pekovic and Donatas could come over at same time..allowing Wolves to run the Big Al/Hibbert/Monroe rotation add Darko and the three euro’s and you have some international flair on that team..if Monroe and Donatas emerge as great bigs ..Big Al becomes more expendable and valueable after fully healing from past injury and can get you a scoring two Guard…
The Pacers get Love to replace Murphy and two picks to get point guard and scorer…If guys like George and Henry are around at 23 it becomes a home run for Bird…They might get Aldrich and Hayward and make it an All American Pacers club…just Trade Granger for the whitest guy possible and call it a day…Just Kidding on the last part about the All american Pacers…But Bledsoe and Hayward are a strong possiblity

Mr.Knick 32ParticipantThe Clippers are not getting LeBron James.
Why are you ripping the man for his idea?

Dr.RedParticipantthat is a terrible trade for the t-wolves! not trying to be a jerk, but are you kidding me?
the wolves might (and I’m stretching by saying might) be willing to trade Love for Hibbert and the 10th pick, but there is no way on earth that Hibbert and the 10th are worth Love and the 16th and 23rd. Plus, I think its evident that K-Love is the Wolves future PF. Jefferson doesn’t move the ball well and has some of the worst tunnel vision in the league…he won’t work well in the triangle and the Wolves know it. He’s gone! Was a nice thought for the Pacers, though!0 - Posted on: Tue, 05/25/2010 - 12:14pm #320765
ilike.panochasParticipantI value Hibbert more than Kevin Love. 7’2 with his skills are more rare than a rebounding machine 6’9 PF. I know Hibbert doesn’t rebound at a high rate considering his size, but he is a good shot blocker and a legit post player.

Dr.RedParticipantDon’t get me wrong… I’m a Hibbert fan. But he is not by any means better than Love. The only thing he has is size. His post game is fair, but he has to be within 10 feet or don’t hold your breath. and can he show any solid consistency? Love is a rebounding machine, but also has a fair post-up game with distance out to 20-feet. The thing that stands out as the glaring difference between the two, Love can pass as good as any big man to ever play the game. Hibbert is not well known for his outlet passes and great interior passing… Love is. So Love isn’t going to be getting a lot of blocked shots and isn’t the best interior defender. Hibbert’s man-up D isn’t that great either, but he is solid, and he does gather some blocks. If I had a choice, I’d take Love 10 out of 10 times! I think most GM’s would too!

IndianaBasketballParticipant@clippers
I agree that Hibbert isn’t worth Kevin Love, but you’re crazy if you wouldn’t trade a high 2nd rounder for him. Hibbert is a sold center, especially on the offensive end.

T-Wolvesfan13ParticipantI am a T-wolves fan and i would hate it if they did this! i could maybe see Love and the 23rd pick for Roy and the 10th pick. But even that would be a surprise. Sorry but i just dont see it.

mj23bestever23Participantthat would be a trade that makes no sense at all for the t wolves love is so much better then hibbert

tonyl33ParticipantMan I just realize that that Wolves and Pacers can make some amazing trades that benefits both teams.
Jefferson, Session, and 2nd round pick (45) FOR Hibbert #10 pick and A.J Price.Indian:
Gains – Jefferson who is a low post threat along with a talented and veteran PG Session.
Losses – Slot blocking presence and lottery pick.
All in all – They gain a veteran players to put around Granger, with low post Jefferson and a solid PG in Session.Possible Starters: Jefferson, Murphy, Dunleavy, Granger, Session
Bench: Ford, Foster, Hansbrough, Dahntay Jones, Solomon Jones, McRoberts,Brandon Rush, and Watson.Wolves:
Gain: Shot blocking Center (Hibbert) another lottery pick along with combo guard A.J Price.
Losses – Low Post scorer and solid back up PG in Session.
All in all – They gain a shot blocking center and allows Love to start at the PF position and Lottery pick.Possible Starters: HIbbert, Love, *Wes Johnson*, Brewer, Flynn
Bench: Hollins, Ellington, Gomes, #10 pick(Hopefully Greg Monroe or Ed Davis), #16 Pick (James Anderson or Paul George), #23 (Terrico White or Eric Bledso)0 - Posted on: Tue, 05/25/2010 - 7:22pm #320994
eci_eliteParticipantBig Roy put up all star numbers early. If the Pacers had a coach instead of O’Brien you’d notice big Roy and Josh McRoberts. Did anyone else watch the T-Wolves GM say that Love isn’t long enough to play with Jefferson? That the team can’t rebound so why would the Pacers trade a 7’2″ legit starting center for a 6’9″ power forward when we are already full of power forwards and plan on bringing two 6’11” Europeans over next season? As for Bledsoe I just don’t see him being an improvement on Ford. He reminds me of a guy I really liked Tony Delk. I’d rather see us get the kid from Alabama or Maryland. The team is high on AJ Price also. I do like the idea of getting multiple first rounders but not at the cost of the guy on our team with the biggest upside.

BlueLacesParticipantIf the Wolves are going to trade Jefferson or Love, they are going to be looking for a proven veteran player in return. Also, Kahn has said he wants to make their frontline more athletic. Roy Hibbert accomplishes neither of those.

Mr. 19134Participantdude ur really giving Philly a bad name with these retarded trade post that ur makin up in ur own lil fantasy world head where actual player value and all logic is thrown out of the window. Do me a favor if u insists on making these retarded threads could u at least take that Phillies jersey off in ur pic, its not a good look for the city plus its a basketball sight anyway.
With that said what are you high on that u would even think of a trade that clears up the TWOLVES logjam at power forward only to draft two more power forwards in the top ten? U got to b jokin right?
0 - Posted on: Tue, 05/25/2010 - 9:10pm #321035
Mr. 19134Participant@eci-elite did u really just try to make a case on why the pacers shouldnt trade hibbert for love? u must b retarded n plz take offense cuz Bird would have to completely kooky crazy not to jump at the possibility of swapping love for hibbert ur talkin about trading the 5th pick overall (almost went 3rd) for the a mid first rounder from the same draft. Not only that u people keep talkin about size but that doesnt matter a whole lot when ur 6’9 guy pulls down infinitely more rebounds then ur 7’2 big for nothing definition of mediocre at best center “Big Roy”

The Scare Crow ReturnsParticipantI think Love people value Love more than they should…Big Al gets less love and He’s the star of that team…They Looked Smart when he went 20/10 after the KG Deal and now a role playing non athlete is worth more than him…is it contract?? is it Color??is it the Injury Al suffered and Love will Too at some point …will that even the playing field..the trade I posted was very rational..sure add Rush and maybe swap the 23rd for a later collection of picks…I know this is draft site but what GM and normal free thinking person wouldn’t be open to Getting a starting Center(Hibbert) and Top 10 pick(?Donatas he could be better than LOve..no??) for a guy that will be a solid role player sure but no real full time starter for any team but the Wolves or Pacers…Love the 16th and 23rd for Hibbert/Rush and the 10th pick is fair in an uncertain draft…People overvaluing the Wolves 16th and 23rd more than the Pacers 10 pick WTF WTF WFT….And Love a 6’9 role player over Hibbert 7’2 role player….Hibbert has higher ceiling…he could wake up and realize..I’m 7’2 and skilled enough to average 20/10/4 blks…
Love Max’s out at 15/12/4 apg/1 Blk…he cant get his every night …at 7’2 Roy could get his every night…0 - AuthorPosts
