    I was watching TNT, and they said that Shaq has been teammates with at least one player from each of the last 33 championship teams.  That number will increase to 34 this year.

    That’s a random but really interesting stat. 

    I wonder how many years Popovich has influenced a championship by extension; whether player, coach, GM, etc.

    I posted something similar a while ago and the guys he teamed up with were some of the greatest of the particular generation even if he hasn’t played them in their primes or he wasn’t prime anymore.
