Tony Parker wins this ring.....
Is he consider the best PG in the NBA? Finally get his respect?
Especially with how the other PGs ended their seasons. Westbrook, Rose, Rondo all injured and Paul out in the 1st round.
Can't forget Stephen Curry though, he sure boosted his resume in these playoffs.
Paul still is better in my opinion. Parker still doesn't have a consistent jumper (yes he hit that game-tying 3 but he was 6-23 overall), and Paul is a better passer and defender. Winnings important and all but that's a team thing not an individual player thing. I still put Westbrook as well over him, its not his fault he had that freak accident that had nothing to do with his durability. Without Westbrook, OKC showed that he was very important to their ability to win, his scoring and defense is incredible and he's a good passer as well. Parker's definitely top 5 though, but really there are so many great PGs in this league nowadays.
I just don't understand how Parker cant be #1
IF he wins this Championship that would put him at:
4 NBA TITLES
Possibly 2 Finals MVP's
How isn't he #1? Or at least in contention?
Because winning doesn't mean he's better than someone else. It just means he has a better team. He was 6-23 in that game, that really hurt them with his inconsistent shooting.
If I had Wheels, I'd be a wagon.
