I’m having a hard time with this.

All project in the mid-first, but in what order will they go?

How would you rank these point guards from 1 to 4?

Eric Maynor, Jeff Teague, Ty Lawson, Jonny Flynn

And will be picked first because he will catch that playing in april stock boost. Then Maynor, then Teague, then Flynn. People say Teague has fallen out of the first round, that is crazy.

Teams likely to draft a PG:

    3. Clippers
    5. Minnesota
    7. Golden State
    9. New York
    14. Phoenix
    17. Phiadelphia
    19. Atlanta
    20. Dallas
    22. Portland
    29. Lakers

If its a fast break team such as a golden state, denver, phoenix, new york, etc. i think their first choice would be ty lawson as he has really improved his stroke. If ranking the pg’s based strictly on talent, i would put it in this order:
-johnny flynn-confident, athletic, gutsy competitor(just look back at the big east tourney), good shooter. But can he guard the chris pauls and deron williams of the world because his defensive ability was never really tested in that 2-3 zone at syracuse.
-eric maynor-good size, vision, pure point guard who at this stage of his career might be most ready to run an NBA team right away. Might not have the potential of the other 3, but he”s done more with less than the other’s also.
-ty lawson- fast, quick, leadership, everything you want in a point guard, but can he run a half court offense consistently? Is he a one-pace guard or can he play different styles? Has to keep improving his shot as he has been doing because he is undersized.
-jeff teague – the sexy pick at the beginning of year, but the ladder part of the season shows how inconsistent he is and another year of school with that talented core at wake could do him some good. But, the talent is definitely there.

It depends on what the teams needs and the tempo the team plays. I would def take Maynor or Lawson first in the draft out of the four. I just depends on what team drafts first and what they need in a point guard.

Jeff Teague had the most upside. Eric Maynor is the most ready. Jonny Flynn is probably the best all around right now. Not taking style fit into account I’d go: Flynn, Teague, Maynor, Lawson.
