I have him at #20 to the Bulls right now. I think they could really use his athletic ability and shot on the perimter. They don’t have a lot of room to sign free agents, so an NBA ready rookie who can play minutes from day 1 seems to make a lot of sense with Rose comes back. He could also provide as an insurance policy if Deng walks after next season.

Looks like an absolute stud. Wasn’t he the d league championship mvp? Stats all season were rammed packed from points, rebounds, blocks. As a weakness i’ve heard his man to man defense needs work.

The shooting incident was a costly error but i’m sure it will be overlooked by many teams.

Mocks have him everywhere but mostly early 2nd round pick. But clearly he has lotto talent.

Can people see a team like the celtics (who interviewed him), take him at 16th? It could be a nice way

to making the transition to losing Paul Pierce and helping Jeff Green at the SF spot.

    thoughts?

Chad Ford has him as the 18th player on his top 100.

This is not a good draft,so even if hes picked at the end of the lottery, its not a guarantee he wont be back in the dleague most of next year…

If the Thunder don’t want MCW or can’t move up to get a guy like Alex Len or Cody Zeller (I actually think he might drop to the Thunder), then they need to think about moving down to the Hawks spots at 17 and 18. They can take Glenn Rice, Jr. and then a big man like Dieng or Jeff Withey there.

I can see Denver really needing this guy. He would also be great off the bench for Memphis.

Rice could really move up. Rudy Gobert is another guy who will have a volatile stock leading up to the draft.

You also have the Cavs at 19 who could try to get Glenn Rice as another wing scorer.

Should be a fun draft. So many wild cards here.

When is the draft lottery by the way?

He will probably go 14-24… I think he is a pretty safe pick, kind of like a Wesley Matthews, solid in all areas.

I think I could see him going as high as #9. Trying to put some highlights of him up when he was Tech. Special player

The highest he could go I’d say would be 20 to the Bulls. He’d be a great fit at that position with Rip Hamilton aging and he could either backup for Jimmy Butler or have Butler remain as the backup SF. The only thing that could hurt his stock is if teams are concerned about his disciplinary issues from the past.

I didn’t care too much for him in college but who knows mayybe he’s improved a lot. But He was teammates last season in the dleague with Andrew goudelock who scored 8 more points, handed out 4 more assists shot better percentages across the board and was named dleague MVP last season, and I can assure you goudelock would not go first round. He is a borderline NBA player.

Uhh maybe because Glen was barely playing at the beginning which affected his stats but when he started getting minutes he started killing. He was averaging over 20 when he was getting good minutes.

Is getting kicked off from school the only red flag on Rice Jr.??

I know his man to man defense could be better, but to make up for it he is an excellent rebounder and shot blocker for size.

If he didn’t have the redflag of getting kicked off school and did as good as in college as he did in the d league, how high would he be chosen?? Would Muhammad still be considered a higher sf/sg prospect?

If he shoots lights out at the workouts which he has the capability of doing he could go really high. Detroit, Washington, Minny, Portland, and Philly all have a need for an athletic wing that can spread the floor with his shot. Interviews and workouts are going to be crucial but when you combine his athletic ability, with his shooting ability, and his D-League playoff dominance against other grown men he becomes an extremely interesting prospect that dare I say it could even get the “safe” “high floor” label.

At the worse he’s another Martel Webster 3 and D type with the capacity to become another Wes Mathews, Jimmy Butler type.

He’s a rangy shooter and a pretty good defender and rebounder, but not a very good ball handler. I think he can be a decent rotation swingman, especially since his length will allow him to defend SG’s and but the most physically gifted SF’s.
