sammybuckeye13ParticipantI think it’s pretty apparent that this Suns team without Amare is not winning a title. I think that Nash must want out even though he loves Phoenix, because there’s no way that team is contending. Thing is, just about every potential contender, and every freakin’ playoff team has a franchise point guard they’re seemingly set with…EXCEPT, the Hawks. Joe Johnson has been adamant about building them up, that he wants to deliver on the financial commitment the Hawks made to him, and he and Nash thrived in Phoenix; also, the Hawks are said to be targeting Shaq, who likes Nash, too. Do you think the Suns might accept:
Jeff Teague and Josh Smith for Nash?
Mike Bibby and Marvin Williams for Nash? The Hawks could then have an extremely dangerous team, and that would be probably be Nash’s best shot at getting a ring, unless he can share the backcourt with another point guard somewhere else. I know Nash leaving isn’t a hot topic at all, but I was thinking about in light of the whole championship debate concerning LeBron, and I want to see Nash to get a ring.

Mr.Knick 32ParticipantNash doesn’t push Atlanta over Orlando.
I think Nash could however be a great fit for Detroit. A deal like this ( plus a 1st rounder)

and the Pistons could be really good. Maybe a 50 win team.

Malik-UniversalParticipantactually, not to sure if dumars would like to exchange a 24 year old PG/SG in stuckey for a 36 year old nash. and dumars would know even with nash, the pistons wouldnt get near a championship, which nash is dieing for

kaceyParticipantJust wait another year or two and the Mavericks will trade Beaubois, Dominique Jones, and two first round picks for Nash.

Mr.Knick 32ParticipantKacey, that would be a terrible trade.

Da1potParticipantThe best way for him to get a ring is go to Miami!!!!! But seriously ,if the Suns feel they are not going to contend and it is evident by midseason, I woudn’t rule out trading Nash as a possiblity to get some chips so that the Suns can rebuild for the future. Mark Cuban prefers to win now opposed to developing young talent, so he would definately trade a player like Beaubois, he already did it once with Devin Harris…

BothTeamsPlayedHardParticipantWhy would Phoenix deal the only player that draws fans to their games?

Toronto16ParticipantThey still wouldn’t be better than the Heat.

PureshooterParticipantI don’t think Nash has much trade value at this point in his career. If you’re talking anything over a 3 year contract, I think most teams would be more interested in Dragic.
