Well this isnt a big trade idea but just a thought. Well we all know houston has a abundunce of young power fowards, so i am suggesting trading one of them to gs for jarret jack and a protecvted first rounder. warriors get a backup big for lee and maybe a future starter, and houston gets a solid backup for lin and a pick

This could work if the Rockets don’t give the backup spot to Machado or Zoran Dragic

Zoran Dragic is really a SG.  I think Machado would be a solid backup though.  I really like his skill set.  He won’t blow you away, but he definitely has the passing ability to be a very good backup in the league.

is just collecting pieces to give them more options for future trades. So I could see somthing like this happening. Ofcourse the more exciting one would be trading 6-8 of them for Bynum or Dwight, but they also have the depth to make smaller/smarter trades like this.

We JUST got Jack as Curry insurance for that terrible ankle. Why in the world would we throw that away after literally just getting Jack? And do I need to mention we are a team of shooters and Jack is the only pure slasher on this team? And we are going to get rid of that? AND he’s a good perimeter defender which we would like to have more of. And who would we get? They just got Jones and White, Patterson doesn’t fit what we’d need out of our back up PF (low post scoring or defense), Motie isn’t getting dealt. Morris is a SF and is mediocre at best right now, Harrleson is crap….

Seriously just no. Absolutely not. And Houston has Douglas and maybe Machado, they need not be thirsty.

None of Houston’s extra bigs (JaJuan Johnson, Jerome Jordan, Josh Harrelson, Jon Brockman, Jon Luer, Marcus Morris, Furkan Aldemir) are worth a first round pick, let alone a pick plus Jack who they just traded for and need to backup Curry.

If anything, Houston would offer GS a first round pick to unload two of their bigs, or maybe a first and a second plus two bigs for Jack. Houston needs to unload them but none of them are appealing or with more than a future second rounder.

Jack can’t be traded untill late January.  The Warriors just picked him up from N.O.

Even if that weren’t the case… there’s no way this would happen at this point in time.  Hou mortgaged their PG future on Lin and they have Livingston.  They’ll pickup a 3rd cheap PG and thats their rotation for this year.  Hou still wants to maintain future cap flexibility.
