bobbygillerHoopsworld is reporting that Steph Curry is set to declare for the NBA draft. He sure took his time weighing his options but it sounds like he’s ready to make the jump. Where does he fit best?

RooeyRacerParticipantNEW YORK KNICKS!!! If the Knicks draft him, that will make the LBJ sweepstakes that much easier. (LeBron has said that he would love and prefer to play with Steph one day, as they are good buddies). It’s a good decision to go this year because of the need for quality point guards.

sheltwon3ParticipantI do hope that the knicks pick him up because he would be a better option for the point offensive better than Duhon and Nate. He just need to get stronger and work on his D and playmaking skills.

BartParticipantThey need to bring in him and Eric Maynor and whoever plays better in the system thats who they should draft.

sheltwon3ParticipantEric Maynor is nice. He may actually be the better pick depending on if Curry can get bigger but since Curry should not have to worry about D too much in New York, he is would be the best choice offensively. I forget how good Maynor’s playmaking is so I will have to do some research on that.

until23ParticipantKnicks can have Curry. He wont be any better than Duhon. I think he’s overrated. A good player on a team that revolved around him in college. He might make a good sixth man. The knicks can do better than Curry but as a Wiz fan I’d be happy with that pick. I don’t think he should be a lotto pick. I think he’s a risk myself similar to jj redick and adam morrison.

sheltwon3ParticipantMorrison was overhype and had a lot of question coming in. Redick is on the wrong team and his confidence has taken a hit because of it but I believe he is still and top offensive player in the league. Think about this Charlotte got rid of Morrison for pretty much nothing because they were overstocked at the position. Magics has a lot of 2 guards and will not give Redick up for nothing even after he put out that he wanted to be traded. I knew Morrison was going to be a bust because his game did not fit a NBA team unless he comes off the bench and his ego will not let him do that effectively. Curry can flat out shoot and in Mike D’s Offense he should be fine. I do believe he would not be good on just any team though. Let me put it this way, there are not many elite shooters in the NBA and Curry when he gets drafted will be one of them and he is clutch and he is used to having defense designed for him. He may be more NBA ready than you think because on the right team he will get more open looks. He may also get a green light on some teams like the Knicks who like to score. He could average 25 points in that offense. I could be wrong but I doubt it and we will see.

ptguard1ParticipantAgain–full disclosure I’m a Duke fan. But come on, Curry better than Duhon AT THE POINT? The Knicks do need a better PG but Curry will NOT be a better option at point than Duhon. What are the knocks on Curry? He needs to get stronger, be better on the ball and become a better play maker. I’m of the opinion that Curry could be a nice player in the league and could put up some numbers but I think people have to stop making him become something he’s not. A point guard. I see him in a way like a poor mans Ben Gordon, a microwave scorer but he needs to become a better ball handler.

butidonthavemoneyI’m still sticking to the statement that Steph Curry is declaring for the NBA draft. In fact, I’m nearly positive that he already has.

The8thDeadlySinParticipantYa know, Q, you say “Riding my d1ck” like its a bad thing. Every experiece I have ever had, with someone riding my d1ck, it was pretty plesant. Maybe you should use something else. Like “please get off my A$$” because, its never happened to me, but I would imagine that that would be annoying and most definatly something that you wouldnt want people doing. Im not telling you what to do, its just a suggestion.
