Heat vs Celtics
Yeah I noticed that with only watching a little of the first quarter. The Heats offense looks very stagnant. It will be easy to defend them if wade and lebron don't move without the ball.
KG looks rusty as hell. Oh, how I would love to watch healthy, not even prime KG, shut down Bosh. Lol. It would be a fun matchup to watch, nonetheless...
LeBron DEFINITELY looks like he's holding back. He's not good off of the ball, so when Wade and Bosh have it... He just stands there basically being irrellivant. He doesn't have a complete game.
The Heat have three one on one players who are great in isolation. Getting them to move the ball and move without the ball is going to be like convincing a 40 year old to quit smoking. That offense is stagnate.
They'll probably feel more energized when they play their opening game at home. It is not easy to open your first season game at Boston no matter how good the players are you have on your team. Even though Boston wasn't too good at home recently, they used to be an elite home team, and they might return to that this year.
And I'm sure LeBron is waiting for his "moment" to take over the game... >.>
Handing the ball over to LBJ would mean putting House, Jones, Bosh and Big Z on the floor. Giving him the ball at the top of the key, spreading out and sending him a pick. He'll dribble the entire clock and either shoot or pass.
We've seen that and where it gets you.
Keep LeBron, Wade and Bosh on the floor together and make them realize that it takes ball movement. Wade and LeBron have to move the ball even if it doesn't get them the assist. They need to stop stopping ball movement... I don't care how great they are.
But you can tell just from the halfcourt offense that something has to change. Knocking down shots will help, but the Heat will make their money from defensive rebounding, turnovers and fastbreaks. I doubt they will be a good halfcourt team considering the talent they have. Just giving the ball to either LeBron or Wade in iso isn't going to work every time.
The Celtics are running them off of the floor.
I can understand a poor game offensively, but the Celtics are running a clinic on showing them how to move the ball and get other players involved. For some reason, LeBron and Wade think that getting people involved means them dribbling the entire shot clock and getting the assist. As I've been saying for months... Those aren't necesarily good assists!
It can't get worst huh, yeah It could imagine Miami without one of the "Big 3"...these dudes can't hang with the Celtics...every thing we said about the lack of PG and C(not to mention a bench) is coming true right infront of every one's eyes...I can't wait to hear the excuses that come out of Lebron's mouth in the post game...
Should be a good one, I think Celtics will focus on shutting down James. Bosh and House will have big games Celtics win 95-92.
