    Lakers Trade: Gasol, Odom, Blake

    Hawks trade: Josh Smith, Marvin Williams, Jamal Crawford(After Resigning), Jeff Teague

     

    Why Hawks do it:

    Hawks finally get a center to move Horford to PF, and feature huge lineup:

    Gasol, Horford, Odom, Johnson, Hinrich

     

    Why Lakers do it:

    Get rid of 2 headaches, get future star at PG in Teague, and improve their athleticism big time

    Bynum, J. Smith, M.Williams/Artest, Kobe, Teague   (Crawford off the bench)

    so the Hawks wud do it to change a players position and get big (which they already are) but they would do this deal to give up a future star at PG??? I see a Lakers homer in the house!!!

    Joe Johnson and Lamar Odom on the wings next to each other wouldn’t be a good combination. Odom coming off the bench for the Hawks would be very nice though. I like the deal, but I think the Hawks would have to swing a second deal to get a 3 or a 2 who can stretch the floor and start next to Joe Johnson

    The trade is good,but i really doubt the Hawks will trade Teague after the way he is breaking out in the Bulls series,Laker fans already mentioned Gasol cant play center for too long,though Josh Smith is playing horrible.

     havent watched the series,just googled Josh Smith, a headline said Josh Smith is blowing it,saw his 37 percent shooting,and then said then typed Josh Smith is playing horrible lol.

    Captain Kirk, Joe Johnson, Odom, Pau, and Horford would be a poor man’s version of this year’s Lakers team.  … not a good idea for the Hawks.  That would also be a pretty old team.

    How do the Lakers get rid of 2 headaches? Gasol has a bad playoffs, I’ve never heard anything about him being a headache though. And was Odom ever mentioned in trades before that flagarent foul…dont be prisoners of the moment. Both guys are key to what the Lakers do. The Lakers problems arent their bigs…its the fact that they have no creaters besides Kobe who is diminishing and they have no perimeter shooting.

    So because the hawks want their young big who is natural power foward to play power foward not center, they are going to get……. another natural power foward?
