The Hawks are in that phase where they are hoping a superstar becomes available and they can make a deal for him, a la James Harden. Why aren’t the Hawks interested in trading for Love? A deal of Millsap, Williams, Muscala, 15, and maybe another future first may not be better than the Boston deal, but it’s still a good deal if Minnesota wants to try and compete for the playoffs next year in addition to getting some help for the future.

I would rather have a deal from bos, GS, Chicago, or even Denver than that package

I wish they would focus more on Love then Melo, but everything I keep reading their first option is Melo.

hahaha living in Atlanta and being a somewhat Hawks fan, Kevin Love will not excite the city of Atlanta..And he won’t re-sign, we don’t need him.

I agree on this one. Carmelo Anthony or Jabari Parker would be more ideal for the Hawks. The casual fans in the ATL will come out to see a superstar on the opposing team. The Hawks need a superstar of their own if they want to excite the fans and get them coming to the games again. Getting Carmelo or Parker is a pipe dream though.
