GTS 23Participantwhat numbers do you expect from him as a rookie? ( in bad teams like charlotte, new orleans, toronto, washington) my prediction is 13-4-1

KHAM83Participant13-3-1 w/ a low fg%. I’m with the masses and believe he needs a good pg. If not, his fg% will dip. I also think 3 is the over/under for rebounds, and Ill go under. He just doesn’t show the passion to be an average rebounder at his position. Not to say he wont improve, but as a rookie, thats my guess.

orangeshadow83ParticipantIt really depends on the team he ends up on. If he is drafted by the Wizards (John Wall setting him up, and first or second scoring option) he will put up more PPG than if he was drafted by say the Kings (Evans and Cousins taking the majority of shots).
If he is drafted by someone like the Wizards or Cavs I think he will have the best rookie season out of anyone in the draft. I could see him putting up numbers around 15-4-2 with his FG% being around 40%.
I think his game is much better suited for the NBA than NCAA and that will be evident in his rookie year. I think he should be a top 3 pick but I don’t think its going to happen, the teams at the top are going to be kicking themselves for not drafting him when all is said and done. I see him and Davis becoming the clear but top 2 players out of this draft class.

Memphis MadnessParticipantI think the Cavs should take a look at him. He would be their wing scorer to go along with Irving’s scoring from the perimeter. Not sold on Andre Drummond. Ok, he is DeAndre Jordan, but possibly without the motor. Where does that leave you?
MKG has more upside possibly but I can see the Wizards, Kings, Cavs, and some others looking at Barnes.
Irving, Barnes, and TT seem like a more well-rounded young trio than Irving, TT, and Andre Drummond.

JoeWolf1I think he’ll fall in love with the 3 and probably averaged about 11 or 12 ppg on 39% shooting from the feild and from 3.

AKOOParticipantBarnes is the 2nd coming of Felipe Lopez. Same college career and most likely same Pro career. People are just giving this guy too many breaks. I hope I am wrong. If I am wrong I can see 15 and 6. Those numbers are not really impressive those are Marvin Williams #’s when he looked like he might work out.

JoeWolf1You mean Felipe Lopez? the 4 year college player? the 6’5” super athletic 2 guard without a 3 point shot?
Don’t see it
