anyone wonder what happened to him? as far as i know he's not on any team. but i'm sure he would be better than those end of the bench reserve bigs all the teams have. why not just sign him to a minimum and help him come back? it has been a while but he was pretty solid in the time he actually played, i'm sure signing him to a long cheap contract and helping him comeback would be a good investment in a potential 3rd or 4th big rather than the d league end of bench guys?
I'm pretty sure he is still rehabbing from his last injury. I think the plan was to take this while season off and come back strong next season. Someone will pick him up by the start of next season.
rehabbing this season, next season he would be back again, he had the German Surgery something
then he's gonna sign with the Heat
no! he is going to sign where the money is, he has been playing his legs to be ready to play, he needs his money back, although i want him to sign as a spur or a sun, they have amazing Medical staff there
I think we need to face the fact: Greg Oden is never gonna play again.
He's gonna sign with the Heat like he said he would for the MLE, this dude made #1 overall pick money plus the QO and he got a Nike deal
Where did he say he say was gona sign for the Heat for the MLE? All I heard was Conley Sr. saying he has mentioned the Heat, amongst others.
I'm a big Greg Oden supporter, but I think he's done.
I've heard the reports that he may come back next season, but I just don't believe he has the desire or the will.
Teams could have signed him this season, but it would have only been to help him rehab. He won't be able to play at all this season and no team wanted to give him a million dollars just to help him.
i wouldnt mind next year i my suns signed him, they would need a backup center because i douby o'neal would still be there, obviiusly it would be a miracle for him to stay healthy but the suns training staff is the best in the league
