What do you thin k Greg Oden should work on the hardest during the offseason, like a go to move, or losing weight?

Weight is not a big concern IMO. I would definitely say he needs to find a go to move and really get it down.

But i would suggest that even more than anything else, he needs to work on his defense. It may be odd since its a strong point for him, but i think he really needs to work on defending without making stupid fouls. That was his biggest problem this year. His production would have been much higher if he didnt have to leave the floor ever 2-3 minutes because he picked up a foul reaching out and touching a PG rather than waiting and stuffing his shot or something of that nature. So i think if he can develop some disciplined D, he will have a much better year next year.

I honestly don’t think he need to work on offense first. He was in foul trouble constantly when he was in the game. He tried to block the ball at the shooters release, instead of the apex of the shot. I think the first thing he need to work on is he shot blocking ability, and his defense. There is enough offense on that team (Broy, LA, Rudy, Blake, Outlaw etc)

I think that a big reason that he was in foul trouble so much this past season is because Steve Blake is a bad defender and his guy would get by him so much that Oden would then be one on one with a quicker player. I think they need a defensive minded PG (maybe Bayless can be that, who knows) to help Oden become a better defender.

I think that Oden can be a more offensive minded Ben Wallace in his prime. Great rebounder, Great shot blocker, but Oden can add 15 points a game give-or-take. (instead of basically no offensive threat in Ben Wallace)

I definately agree with developing his defense and re-tooling his shot blocking because i must see the shot erasing greg oden i watched in college, but working on his legs is a must. He just looked so damn awkward with this massive upper body and disproportionate legs and it really showed with all of his lower body injuries. A go to move would also be an excellent addition to his game, right now he has the dwight howard go to move of slam the opponent under the net then dunk, which just doesnt work for long if you are not a freak of nature like dwight.
