He plays alot like Jarret Jack or Nolan Smith (don’t know what offensive improvments he will make year 2). He has good size and is very strong for a PG. Plays very good defense. On offense he will take care of the ball but he won’t create much. On the offensive end hes more of a "won’t help but won’t hurt" type of player.

Ball security and defense will be his main contribution.

on what type of shape Felton is in. Everyone knows J Kidd won’t be playing major minutes anymore. That means there are huge minutes availible to eithier Pablo or Raymond.

I like Pablo for this team because Melo and Amare will get most of the shots and will get them in that isolation offense that Woodson loves to run, so Pablo only needs to worry about getting them the ball and doing the little things.

If they were still using D’Antoni’s pick and roll then I would say Felton because he is better at attacking on offense, but in Woodson’s system an attacking PG isn’t necessary when you already have 2 All Stars.

For the NBA? I can’t think of a comparison. The NBA has never had a point guard like him.

Matt Maloney?  Big, solid, can shoot if needed, doesn’t turn the ball over, good facilitator.  It’s a shame he’s just now coming over.  He’s 35 already.

The Knicks aren’t looking for him to play for ten years. They need someone to run the offense and get shots for Melo, Amare, and J.R. Smith, throw the occasional lob to Tyson Chandler, and hit a cutting Ronnie Brewer when he back cuts a sleeping defender. Priogioni should be able to get that job done splitting backup minutes with Jason Kidd who is going to be asked to do the same thing when he is in the game.
