Well…now that Kahn is gone, my username became kind of useless. But hearing Flip talk as a GM (interviews, etc.) makes me realize that Kahn was just a symptom of an even bigger problem in MN: the ownership.

So now, instead of laying the blame on the Wolves’ GMming, I need to lay the blame on the owner. SELL THE FREAKING TEAM. It sucks that Taylor decided to buy even more shares of the team rather than sell it a few months ago =(

I feel your pain. I don’t even have words for that Bargs deal. I can’t think of a single reason that trade makes sense for that team. It makes the salary cap situation even more hellish, it makes their defense worse, it creates a logjam at PF/C, it will make ‘Melo have to shift back to SF when he’s been WAY more effective as a PF, they get rid of Camby (who was one of maybe 3 players on that team who had any interest whatsoever in defense), they get rid of their best 3P shooter (Novak)…I literally cannot think of a single positive for the Knicks.

Ujiri is a wizard, or he has access to some of Rick James’ cocaine stash to give to other parties in trades.

The trade wasn’t completely horrible, they did get younger and he is a good stretch big man. But he makes the team weaknesses worse to me. That’s the only thing.
