Stojakovicfor3Participantnever gonna happen, but if they were both in the league for 2 or more years it would be possible

BothTeamsPlayedHardParticipantTeams don’t trade rookies like that. My guess is that Utah will try to use its trade exception from the Boozer S&T to grab Varejao from Cleveland. Golden State can grab any one of the many available free agent small forwards with their MLE.

JoeWolf1Golden State has the same amount of power forwards as they did before the trade. They swapped Lee for Randolph. I don’t think having the same amount of power forwards they did on draft day will make them want to trade Udoh for a small forward.

shannon92ParticipantI think they drafted udoh to replace randolph? and now that they have lee who is a longer term option at that possy they dont really have a need for him?

dmo21ParticipantFor the free agents for forward positions that look good for G-State, that i think are maybe Howard as a starting SF and Alexander as a maybe high reward backup SF. For athletic big men that could run in their systems as backups are Tyrus Thomas, Sean Williams, and Pops Mensa-Bonsu(love the guy).

SwatLakeCityParticipantUtah management loves Hayward too much to trade him. The fans don’t and might accept to the trade, but the management loves Hayward too much to trade him. Just look at the Jazz website a few days after the draft and you will see what I mean. I don’t necessarily agree with the management and their pick of Hayward, but I will wait until his rookie season end to voice my concerns. Maybe Hayward has a great rookie season and proves me wrong, maybe not. Maybe Udoh has a great season with the Warriors and proves me wrong as well. (I think that both the Jazz and the Warriors made mistakes by picking who they did on draft day, but I could be wrong) Right now it is too early to tell, if a trade should be made.
As for that trade exception with Boozer, I would be absolutely fine with Varejao, this would provide us with a suitable backup to Millsap, and not have to use Koufos. To Koufos and I worry about him, because I really don’t like him period. To me he is a poor man’s Spencer Hawes, you know the Big Softie.

B-ball fanParticipantI think they should have drafted Monroe, but they look better off now than they did last year. David Lee will be an improvement at C. Udoh can play pf for them. Their trade for Lee was a smart move.
