I will have some time tomorrow to work on the rosters/salaries/draft picks/cap holds/etc spreadsheet tomorrow. Hopefully I can get all 30 teams knocked out, then I can set each page to where only the team owner (and myself) can edit their team page.
I will also add an area (or tab) that will have a trading block and wish list on it.
More rules/deadlines will be coming. I’m thinking something like giving you all about a 2-3 weeks to make some deals, then maybe have a pretend draft. Maybe we could all decide on an early entrant list and go off that and have a draft.

Are we going to have a draft? If so I would like to hold off on deals because my pick may become more valuable than it already is.
We also should be able to make deals during the draft.

Based on some posts I’ve seen from Scare Crow, it seemed he wanted to eventually do a draft of some sort. I would assume he meant doing like a pretend-2011 draft. We can use the ESPN lotto simulator to get a draft order based on whatever day we select as the day to use the final standings, then any of you all that made deals with draft picks, we can make changes as necessary. Then also, based on protections teams have on certain first round picks, those will be reflected as well.
Scare Crow is the inventor, I’m just throwing out ideas.

NBA Rosters
The link above is the published version of the spreadsheet that I’ve linked before. I still need to copy and paste the salaries of 28 other teams, adjust the draft picks, and then tinker with some formatting.
Do any of you all happen to have a g-mail account? I would like to enable each team owner to edit their team page and I’m thinking you might need a g-mail account to do so.
If you have a g-mail address, please post it, so I can try to figure this feature out.

if we are using trade machine wont it get a bit confusing down the road when you want to trade a player but they are on a different roster on trade machine

I have noticed that issue as well, which is why I’m looking into trying to create a trade checker of my own on Excel, then I can add it as a tab on the Google Document I created.
So all trades involving players that haven’t been dealt, can still go through with ESPN trade checker. After that, my home made version will verify the rest.
I would also like to find a way to keep all comments/threads directed towards this game on the Google document as well. That way it doesn’t start spamming the forum too much.

Mark, you now have access to the Cavs page. Once you get to their tab, you should have a message that comes up that says you can edit if you have access. It will then to take to the more spreadsheet look. Obviously, I don’t have the Cavs’ roster or salaries, or cap holds, put in place yet.
Urban, you have access to the Heat page. Same as Mark, there isn’t much to look at just yet.

Its a place where you can create free websites. http://sportsnuts.webs.com/ I just created it but theres some cool stuff on there. You could create a website too. You can have a forum and do some other cool stuff.
