As of today, the Antetokoumpo brothers are officially full 100% Greek citizens.
And just as I tried to explain here before, their official legal name would be spelled Antetokoumpo, because they are Greek citizens.
So yes, they are officially now full Greek citizens. They can play at the Treviso NBA draft camp, and the OFFICIAL legal spelling of their name is Antetokoumpo.

lockdownDThat wont be their NBA because is to hard to pronounce. So yes, it’s their ‘OFFICIAL’ name, but not for the NBA.
I like Adetokunbo better anyways.0 - Posted on: Thu, 05/09/2013 - 10:08am #771313

European BasketballerParticipantNBA uses the name on the passport. So it will be Antetokoumpo, because that’s the actual name on the passport and the official FIBA name (what the NBA also goes by).
Also, the pronunciation is irrelevant for Adetokunbo, because the name isn’t pronounced Adetokunbo. That’s not even how the name is pronounced. So I’m not sure why that would even matter.
The name is pronounced like this —>
Ahdaytowkubo
Nothing even remotely similar to Adetokunbo in English pronunciation.
So if what you claimed was true, that NBA will list a difficult foreign name by pronunciation (which is of course ridiculous and absurd) , then the name would be listed as Ahdaytowkubo, not Adetokunbo.

NYFLAVA2K9ParticipantYou know, I actually felt where you were coming from when I jokingly posted “Kill yo self” in reply to someone negging me in my post for asking for help of all things… until reading this. I see now you clearly understand the difference between disrespect and a joke. So with that being said…. Good day to you Sir! I won’t take the low road and point out the inconsistencies of a person who plays “Moral Police” one minute, and then exudes the epitome of distaste the next!… And please do not take this as a means of me crying over a “neg” or me even caring about what you or anyone else thinks… I’m too worried about getting $$$, gettin pu$$y etc… Things you clearly know nothing about seeing as how you have time to patrol a draft site and and write cry post on whats disrespectful, and whats not…

NYFLAVA2K9ParticipantI respectfully recant this statement… I see where you were coming from and as a Man I can admit when I am in the wrong. You are absolutely right… a child would not know the impact behind the words “Kill yo self” and seeing as how you thought it was a child making that statement, I respect you for trying to correct it . I did not read/realize your point of view until after I already wrote this comment. It was just frustrating on my end that asking for help would warrant someone responding negatively. So lets agree to keep it about the game we both love versus pettiness.

Nigeria i/naɪˈdʒɪəriə/, officially the Federal Republic of Nigeria, is a federal constitutional republic comprising 36 states and its Federal Capital Territory, Abuja. The country is located in West Africa and shares land borders with the Republic of Benin in the west, Chad and Cameroon in the east, and Niger in the north. Its coast in the south lies on the Gulf of Guinea on the Atlantic Ocean. There are over 500 ethnic groups in Nigeria of which the three largest ethnic groups are the Hausa, Igbo and Yoruba.
The name Nigeria was taken from the Niger River running through the country. This name was coined by Flora Shaw, who later married Baron Lugard, a British colonial administrator, in the late 19th century. The British colonised Nigeria in the late nineteenth and early twentieth century, setting up administrative structures and law while recognizing traditional chiefs. Nigeria became independent in 1960. Several years later, it had civil war as Biafra tried to establish independence. Military governments in times of crisis have alternated with democratically elected governments.
Nigeria known as "the Giant of Africa", is the most populous country in Africa, the seventh most populous country in the world and the most populous black country.[5] Nigeria is roughly divided in half between Muslims, concentrated mostly in the north, and Christians, who mostly live in the South and central parts of the country.
