Mr. HookShotParticipantSo, after adding another twist to this briliant first round, we have 3 games 7 coming up (all this saturday). Who do you guys see taking these decisive games? My predictions:
MEM @ OKC – Despite the immense criticism on OKC in this series, Memphis just showed had they been healthy all year they would definitely be a 4 or 5 seed instead of a 7 seed. Durant came out really aggressive in game 6, I will expect him to do the same in game 7 as well. Although I like Memphis, and they played very good this series, Durant will make sure as the best player on the floor they will move on. Especially considering the injury to Conley (uncertain whether he will play), Memphis hopes will be finally put to rest.
Odds: OKC 80 – 20 MEMGSW @ LAC – Rollercoaster-series (on and off the court), with two very exiting teams. Curry finally became more aggresive in game 6, showing he can be the offensive dynamo which keeps GSW going. LAC suffered from a subpar game from Griffin, who just didn’t had it on offense and also struggled with Paul in foul trouble. They will pick it up in this game 7, with them just having a little bit more quality (and depth) than GSW. However, despite that I favor the Clippers, as long as you have Curry/Thompson on your team (who can get hot any time) you have a chance to shoot yourself to the victory.
Odds: LAC 70 – 30 GSWATL @ IND – After game 3 (and again after game 5), nobody gave Indiana any chance going through, considering the Hawks really are a bad match-up for them and the lack of cohesion for Indiana. However, they did come through in the crucial game 6, although things didn’t come easy for the Pacers. Hibbert is basically a non-factor in the series, but when West and Copeland play game 7 like they did game 6, they can match the shooting big guys from the Hawks (Antic & Millsap). Having said that, the Hawks do have a legitimate shot at going through, better than the Warriors/Grizzlies that is, considering they play very well, have a good coach, and play a (still) struggling team which they already have beaten twice on their home floor this series.
Odds: IND 60 – 40 ATLSo despite that it didn’t look that way earlier in these series, I expect all high seeds to defend home court and move on to the next round. Who do you think will come through?

festar35ParticipantI feel the Clippers will go through in their series. The other two I am less confident about, I have told my mate if Indiana goes through so will OKC, it was a joke but it seems to be the way things are unfolding.
In saying that I say OKC walks away with the win and I have absolutely no idea about the Hawks vs Pacers. That series could go anyway, Paul George has been phenominal for Indy and they win when he has help, so the question is can West back it up and Hill or Stephenson contribute? I think we know what the Hawks bring, it will be what Indiana team shows up.

RUDEBOY_Participantdid anyone else noticed that paul george stepped unto the court during the scuffle between hill and scott? both players were giving techs, but both players could be suspended for game 7.. and even though the incident happened right in front of the pacers bench and george only stepped a few feet..could the league give george a suspension for game 7?

The QParticipantIf George isn’t suspended it’s more proof the NBA is fixed/corrupt like I’ve been saying.
Just like when they selectively chose to suspend Amare for walking up the sideline while tim duncan could’ve been legally catching passes from where he was during an altercation in that series.
Selective use of the law means you’re deciding playoff games and series.

Mr. HookShotParticipantIf George is suspended, then I would say Atlanta is the favourite to win (IND 30 – ATL 70).
