JoeWolf1Good offensive game early. SA is taking it to Duncan early and Lebron is dishing out of double teams to create good shots for his teammates.

TomShoeParticipantIs it just me, or does LeBron seemed to be bothered by Diaw?
Diaw is a big dude, and he’s also deceptively quick. LeBron seems to struggle when matched up with Diaw. It might be because LeBron can’t just bully through Diaw like he can with Kawhi or Green.
It also seems like he doesn’t trust his jumper enough to just shoot over top of him.
That, and Timmy is just killing it.

JoeWolf1Diaw even took him to the rack twice and scored. I just KNEW Lebron was gonna go right back at him and put Diaw in his place, but nope, Lebron is bothered by him to some extent. That and he was playing the role of facilitator for mist of the half.

nick5354ParticipantTimmy is really turning back the clock. 11-13 for 25 points and 8 boards. Greatness gets labelled and passed around too easy these days but this man is truly great. Insane first half in such a big game.
Lebron needs to realise he is the best player in the world. It seems like he doesn;t believe it to me. They are giving you so much space, so shot it! I just want to seem him attack in the second half and lay it all out on the line.

Stevenok, i am sick and tired of hearing lebron james being mentioned in the same sentence as michael jordan. i feel like everyone has given him a pass, and just because he has 4 MVPs does not make him one of the best all time. i am watching with my own 2 eyes a guy who is good, but NOT top 5 player level good. the best players; jordan, bird, magic… those guys would go by, around, through the defense to help there team win. lebron is just passing it off, not attacking, not getting by anyone. hes a great player, yes, but hes not in michael jordans level, and i dont even see him as a top 10 player.

GottaBeTheShoesParticipantA few things I took from the first half
Manu is the most annoying player to watch for me, he’s either great or pathetic, and everytime he has the ball I go “well turnover time”. Mario Chalmers is keeping the heat close in this game with 14 points, I heard Lebron and Him switched scoring option roles pre-game and Chalmers went from 4th to 1st and Lebron went back to 4th. Danny Green is open so often on the weakside, I wish they’d include him into the offense more. Diaw is actually one of the better defenders I’ve seen on Bron. and of course Tim Duncan is 25 and 8 in the first half (legendary)…

drk3351ParticipantManu passes are really hurting the Spurs. And if the Spurs win the title the only reason I’d be against Green getting the MVP is because he can be neutralized easily as a shooter. He hasn’t been bad but hasn’t gotten open looks and doesn’t create off the dribble. Tony Parker would get my vote IF spurs win

Ghost01ParticipantThe officating has been undoubtably shaky (Joey Crawford…duh) but Van Gundy did make the correct point. It has been shaky both ways, and the Spurs take each bad/questionable call and move on. The Heat whine so much about everything that doesn’t go there way. Shouldn’t the best player in the league be able to dominate without getting the calls? Shouldn’t he be able to do better than 3-12 through 3 quarters? Gear up LeBron, this is a big quarter for you. If this play continues, its going to be a long summer.

B-ball fanParticipantMia is not in bad shape right now, despite the lack of momentum coming out of the third. They were only out scored by 1 in the quarter despite the fouls. They just need to attack early in the shot clock like they did at the start of the game and continue to drive and kick.
SA needs to continue to push the tempo.

Ghost01ParticipantA few points:
– F*ck you LeBron James, f*ck you sir. I’m done defending your schenanigans, your inconsistent on court personalities, your bipolar esque ability to dominate and choke within the span of seconds. You weave in and out of your super passiveness for 5 games, then you put up an all time stinker 3 quarters, then going into sub-human destruction mode, scoring at will, setting people up, attacking like crazy, then Wade and Bosh return to the game, San Antonio doesn’t just lay down because you went on a 10-2 run, and you go back into choke fest. Turnover, brick, turnover, brick…then you hit a 3 that helped save the game, and then you go back intro brick/fail mode in OT. You didn’t win Miami this game, and you’re a lousy “Best player of this era”….and that’s my opinion regardless of what any others think.
– San Antonio undoubtably BLEW this game. Up 5 with so little time left, the offensive rebound, the missed free throw, the offensive rebound, unacceptable in a close out game. Popovich leaving Duncan out was foolish for the last play. And although I understand the Spurs half court offense in OT hit the wall, going no T.O. with Parker out was a mistake.
– The Ginobli/Allen call was boarderline, and Ginobli almost certainly traveled. I’m not upset about this because the Spurs shouldn’t be rewarded for Ginobli’s absolutely terrible play. Might be better off benching him for game 7, because he is beyond useless at this point, even if he had a historic game 5. That being said, Bosh FOULED Danny Green. FOULED. You cant throw your body into a guy, and because at the top your hand hits the ball it isn’t a foul. It IS a foul. It SHOULD HAVE BEEN a foul. I understand there is this idea that calls shouldn’t be called late in games. Touch fouls 30 feet away form the rim, Reach ins off the ball, moving screens, sure I can agree with that. But anyone who thinks that a SHOOTING FOUL that is almost obvious should not be called because its the last 2 minutes or OT is just stupid (Yes, JVG, I’m talking to you).
-The Spurs aren’t done. I’m actually on a vacation in Florida right now, and the news that game on made it look like the Heat fans think they won the Finals. Game-to-game momentum has meant 0 in this series.

BigChamp12ParticipantOne of the best games I have ever seen! And I’ve seen A LOT of games. This will be a classic. It looked like it would be a historic game for Duncan. It probably couldve cemented his spot in the 5 players of all time.
Tony EFFIN Parker is a phenomenal player! He’s simply a guy you dont want to go up against. He’s forreal!!
Ray Allen made the play of the game to send it to overtime. That shot will be showed for a long long time.
The Heat showed brilliant heart tonight. They showed the heart that I didnt think they had.
Lebron showed what the best player in the NBA looks like when he plays without thinking and gives his best effort on both ends. If he hadnt turned it on, the game wouldn’t even be close. He did what he was supposed to do tonight! Played with the Heart of a Champion, and came through in the clutch. 32points, 10rbs, 11asts, another big performance in a game 6 elimination game!
This was a game!! Oh my GOD!! This was a game!!
