AZcats09ParticipantAfter seeing this kids highlight reel on youtube he seems pretty impressive. Great looking athlete who appearsto be a very natural scorer with a silky J. He’s ranked in the lower half of the top 100 prospects, but with his combination and scoring ability I could see him developing into something special.
I think his biggest hurdles are going to be defense, and learning how to play as a true PG, because at 6’2 he’s clearly undersized to play the 2 full time.
One other major hurdle would be seeing playing time, expecially early on with Josiah Turner, Nick Johnson, Kyle Fogg, Jordan Mayes and Brendon Lavender all either very experienced, or a potential NBA talent (Turner and Johnson).
I think his Arizona career may start off a little slow, but with his tools I could see him developing into a very solid college (and maybe NBA) player down the road.
What do you guys know about him? Do you think he has some legit potential as I (with an admitted bias) do?

hiphopismylifeParticipantI know he came to Indianapolis last week and dropped 46 on an Indiana Elite team that has four top 100 players. Hit around 10 3s

JNixonParticipantHe reminds me alot of Keith Appling who’s at Michigan State right now. An undersized tweener guard with nice scoring tools and shooting touch, and could be a good college player offensively, but underwhelming pro prospect.

OCLakerFan7ParticipantI’ve watched this kid since he was a freshman and was California Freshman of the Year. He’s uber athletic, and can shoot out to 23 feet with consistancy and a quick release. He just led all scorers at Addidas Nations and I think he has a chance to be special at UofA. If he can add some weight / muscle to his frame and keep his athleticism, watch out. He may even grow as his brother is about 6’4"/6’5" and just signed with a small D1 school in Tennesee from a local socal JC. Hopefully he’ll bring another CIF to O-Lu this year and a State Title!
