McDunkinWell ill try to avoid the obvious answers you will get like Griffin,Wall, Jenning etc.
I think Mbaha A Moute will be one of the top defensive players in the league
Drew Naymick will be the next great red head
Terrence Williams will be doing big things in a season or 2

RickyRubio9ParticipantT-Will!
I know I might get killed, but before he came out I always saw him as a Mini-LeBron.
He doesn’t have his athleticism, but he fills a stat sheet. I think he could easily drop 15, 7, and 5 with a couple steals/blocks or more. His jumper is questionable like LeBron, but he can really drive from what I’ve seen.
I like his future.

The Scare Crow ReturnsParticipantLBJ is on another level, but T Will is a 6’6 Lebron clone…He has crazy hops and a triple threat every night…If he really focused and was actually given the keys is New Jersey he could get 20/5/5 easy…he always had an NBA game and with no real Star wings in NJ he should take over

stanford hoopslmao. Darko does not Have allstar talent. Not now not in the past not EVER. If he ever makes a allstar team that means all other centers in the west are injured as well as all the power forwards
I can see t will

RUDEBOY_ParticipantDerozan is a bit overrated,he’s a poor ball handler ..he needs to be playing with a great point guard like CP3 or Nash then his numbers and his game will improve..
Nick Young has been giving plenty of chances when Arenas was out last year..But he was inconsistent..
The Lakers got a steal in Ebanks ,i think he will become a star..but can they afford him when he become a free agent?
Don’t sleep on Renaldo Sidney..He might be this year’s version of DeMarcus Cousins..Both had questions about their attitudes, problems keeping their weight under control & work habits…

TheWizardParticipantDarko has zero chance of being allstar quality ever since setting foot in Minnesota. Thinking of how many allstar caliber centers he would have to beatout is just unthinkable. Statements usually dont bother me whatsoever, but this is just plain ignorance. Maybe you should see Darko play once or twice before sounding like you don’t know anything about the NBA . 😉

AndyBeng2Participantimo the future of the NBA is Eric Gordon, the kid can score at will and defend with the best of them, he just needs to work on that ball handling and decision making. I also see Darren Collison making a name for himself in the future, he will get this year to showcase his talents in my homestate of Indiana.

IndianaBasketballParticipantEric Gordon will become a star once he improves his ball handling, adds an in between game and most importantly… Stops waiting for somebody else to make the big plays in the 4th quarter.

JNixonParticipantTerrence Williams is more like Andre Iguodala than Lebron. I do think Williams has a chance to be an All-Star, but he needs to polish his offensive skills.

omphalosParticipantAre you kidding Iggy? I was watching Houston-Nets game the other nights and Williams was making some really tough shots. It was strange though, he could make them, but he seemed hesitant about taking over the game and dominating. Could be because its pre-season could just be because he hasn’t been given the green light. I’m hoping he becomes the franchise wing to complement Lopez; the dude is ready to ball this season, he just needs the chance. Sucking up to Avery Johnson will be a good move.
There was a point way up about what the Lakers do when Kobe goes in terms of a franchise player – Celtics already have Rondo to fill those shoes. I have no doubt they’ll find someone, Lakers always seem to bounce back and have one of the best players in the League.

JNixonParticipantAm I kidding about what? Him needing to polish his offensive skills more to become an All-Star? Him being closer to an Andre Iguodala type than a Lebron type? If so, no and no.
Williams is my 2nd favorite player in the NBA, but there is no denying he doesn’t possess polished scoring tools. He flashes the ability to make tough shots as you mentioned, but he’s not consistent with it. And he’s not really capable/ready to carry a considerable load for a good team. He probably will be a 3rd or 4th option for the Nets next year, but he’s not very polished offensively yet and he struggles with shot-selection and turnovers, as well as basketball IQ and consistency with his handle and shooting.

Mr. 19134ParticipantLet me be clear Terrence Williams will never make an All Star game.
Like seriously lets be real. The guy might have all the physical tools but he doesn’t have the work ethic or intelligence.
The guy was a 4 year player at Louisville and instead of getting better he actually stayed about the same getting buy on his athleticism. The guy shot 61% from the foul line his freshman year and if that wasn’t bad enough it only got worse. By the time he left as a senior he was shooting 58%. That shows he obviously wasn’t putting enough time into his game. If he was maybe he would of averaged more then 12 points a game his SR. year and shot better then 43%.
Williams got drafted high because he was one of those "rare" seniors who still had potential. When was the last time that worked out. Look at Rodney Carney.
He seems to have gotten better tho in the league. He averaged 8 as a rookie, not exactly lighting anything up on a bad team, but not terrible. Jrue Holiday averaged the same being the youngest player in the league last year tho.
And if you’re gonna say T-Will you should be saying Evan Turner too because Turner shut down Williams in their last pre season game and Turner went on to have his best offensive output.
Turner will easily have a better career then Williams.
Williams will have a nice career he could be a 15 5 n 5 guy but they’re not all star numbers ask Iguadola.
Eric Gordon will be a stud this year.
Kevin Love and Mike Beasley should both have impressive years for the retooled Timblerwolves.
Jrue Holiday is capable of a break out year.
Brooke Lopez is going to be a star.
Darren Collison is only going to get better.
Demar Derozan is going to have a nice career.
And Tyreke Evans will eventually move into the top ten players in the league within the next 2 years.

stanford hoopsi like eric gordan but hes not the future of the nba. a future allstar maybe but not the future of the nba. him and mayo are still in the same future allstar boat people just forgot about mayo because he didnt make the fiba team
im still iffy on derozen he reminds me of ricky davis. i think he will be at the doorstep of the allstar team one day but im not sure if he will ever actually be one
i can see twill getting a nod because he does a bunch of things very well
it makes no sense to say turner will just because of a shut down in PRESEASON that makes no sense even if it was a shut down in the regular season its only one game. you dont make a allstar team because of one game you make it because of 35-40 games or what ever half a season is

ghettosermonParticipantTerrence Williams has a lot of things going for him. He’s athletic. A strong defender. Above average rebounder for his position. And he’s sort of a point forward with his rare ability to handle and pass for his size. My problem with him is that he should be a #2 or 3 not a #1. When he has a #1 mindset and aggressive offensive mind set his game is off. He can be a chucker and shoot horrendous percentages. If he can limit himself to 10 shots a game and around 15ppg and focus more on his facilitating and defense he will be a legit #2. I just think sometimes he can be way too trigger happy and he’s way too streaky of a shooter for that to help his team.

marcusfizer21ParticipantDarren Collison will be a valuable asset to the Pacers… i think it’s a step to making them a little bit more fun to watch now with him running the point… Good job by the front office in getting him… The Pacers will actually have an interesting summer after this season with a lot of expiring contracts. Next stop should be getting rid of Dunleavy’s ugly contract..
