I think Mike Budenholze, Lawrence Frank, Dwane Casey, Brian Shaw and certainly others will be Head Coaches as early as next season. I believe all of the one’s I listed are being interviewed by teams right now by teams who are in need of a new head coach.

Also I’ve heard that Kelvin Sampson of the Bucks has been allowed to be interviewed by the Rockets for their current head coach vacancy, expect him to be a new head coach by next season as well.

Gary Payton is not going to be a head coach anytime soon, probably not ever (wrong type of personality, I want to see him on NBA TV again though). Mark Jackson should be given a chance(I think he is next on the list). Jason Kidd will definitely coach at some point. Tim Duncan has the potential to be a good coach. KG would be a good motivator but I am not sure about a head coach maybe an assistant.

What about Sam Cassel, Derek Fisher, Shane Battier, Tim Thomas, McDyess

Lindsey Hunter, he was brought in to the Bulls to groom Derrick Rose for a year or two and somewhat okay, but he’s a defensive minded guy and defense wins ships’

Alright I just gonna throw this out there but how about Joe Smith, former #1 pick, has been around the league and adapted to about every situation. I feel he could make pretty good coach in the future
