Vindication, I knew he didn’t have the frame to get away playing the way he does in the league.. And I also called that obnoxious photoshopped photo of Fultz jacked.. Where are all the guys who said an athlete can put on that much size.. Id personally would like to call you all fresh dumb_a$$*es

He literally just stepped on the back of a guy’s foot. What does that have to do at all with his frame and how he plays?

Hes been injured twice in the last 6 months, his knee injury shut him down during his last games at Washington.. Hes starting to become a bit injury prone.. if you honestly think he’s gonna get through 82 games healthy.. I have a bridge in Brooklyn to sell you

He’s no more injury prone than Stephen Curry is.

I do believe the photo was a farce..but his frame had nothing to do with the injury…

I will say the 3 games I watched of him playing this summer looked a lot like him at Udub. Constantly calling for the ball taking some bad shots. Guys feeding into that, everyone just trying to get their’s. Which was the problem at Udub.

I didn’t watch much of Fultz at UW this year, but I saw A LOT of the Andrews/Chriss/Murray team two years ago and that was pretty much a disaster. It’s iso ball + nothing but dumb mistakes and low basketball IQ. Romar stunk as a coach and they didn’t want to get rid of him with the recruits they had coming in. Anytime you have two lotto picks and can’t win 20 games, you are a completly useless coach and program.

There’s a curse on #1 draft picks more likely than not they end up getting injured pretty quickly

I would rather have Lonzo or Fox as my franchise point guard.  Things happen…

Philly didn’t have a GREAT option, since they were deep at forward, they have a center, and they plan to use Ben Simmons as a point guard.

You would think that maybe Lonzo would have been intriguing for Philly.  Can handle the ball and pass, and play off the ball at the 2.  But, it looks like he is streaky from 3 (at best).

Fultz is a D Rose type, a ball dominant scorer who is basically a combo guard.

I don’t think he will make others better…

He sprained his ankle and got shut down for the summer. I don’t see how this is the doomsday scenario you all are jumping to, unless it comes out that his injury is worse than originally reported.

I had this and the recovery is long, my ankle didn’t feel right for about a year, but i’m not an elite athlete so who knows how much time he’ll need.

I was 30, but just saying, high ankle sprains suck real bad. Anyone who has had one knows they are painful and recovery can be long. He could recover by september, but don’t be shocked if hes out until Feb depending on how bad it is.  I hope hes back back and ready to go by Nov because he reminds me of a younger Dewayne Wade and the 76ers look promising this year if everyone can stay healthy

I had one a couple years ago that was so bad I could barely walk and had to pull myself upstairs by the rails. I didn’t get it checked out for 2 weeks because I thought it would get better by itself. Even after getting a boot and crutches, I would put so much Icy Hot on I couldn’t feel it so I could keep hooping, and I was better after a month. I have to wear an ankle brace everytime I do anything on it now but if I had gotten it taken care of it’d be fine, so I’m sure with a professional medical staff he’ll be alright soon. He’s already proven himself in the summer league, so no point in playing anymore until the season

Not a high ankle sprain, though. Lateral. They say it’ll take one or two weeks.

Why the hate on fultz?!?! Kid can play if anybody thinks other wise you are all delusional.

Kids 19 how does anybody know what he’s capable of yet?? Ive watched a lot of his games and seen a lot of versatility, i dont think you can box him in and say he is gonna be this or that.

It just comes down to work ethic and how much he really wants to be great. Just like every other rookie.

But you’ve got to give him credit, He goes for the block even though the player is ahead of him, he didn’t give up on the play although his ankle give up, thanks to the foot of Jabari brown (don’t know if it’s him). It’s a sprained ankle, don’t know what grade it is,There are 3 grades of sprain. Ingram also injured his leg, I think it’s cramps, and you can see Magic holding his breath there, It goes to show ho much important players are. With Fultz shutdown in SL. There’s still great rookies to watch like DSJ, Tatum Jackson fox and Lonzo, including bam,, this summer league is so entertaining compared last year in terms of rookies.

He’s fine. He sprained his ankle like every single person that’s ever played basketball or football. Ben is fine too. If this was a rookie for any other team, ESPN wouldn’t be blowing it up (look at Ingram for instance). It’s a Sixer and they hate us, so they have to make things up.

He’ll be back practice in a week.
