zcnumerounoParticipantWith the draft done and over with and with the season months from starting, I thought I’d fill the lull by asking you guys to make some predictions of free agent destinations.
It can be bold or not, high-profile or low-profile; it doesn’t matter.
A few of mine:
Dwight Howard signs with the Mavs
Nic Batum signs with GS
Conley re-ups with the Griz
Delly signs with the Bucks
Noah signs with the Knicks (no KD, sorry Melo)

ChoppyParticipantI’ve heard rumours of Detroit’s interest in Delly. He would fit with what SVG is trying to build in Detroit.

Memphis MadnessParticipantI think Dwight Howard should sign with the Knicks.
It would be so ridiculous that it might take some of the pressure off.
That would give New York a very talented (if quirky) Big Four of Carmelo, Porzingas, D Rose, and Dwight.
The promise is Rose/Howard pick and rolls on one end and Dwight’s monster blocks on the other. Carmelo and Porzingas perfectly spacing the floor. D Rose expertly tuning a grad level dribble drive motion offense.

The Scare Crow RisesParticipantDelladova to Philadelphia
Horford to New York
Howard to Miami
Whiteside to Dallas
Barnes to Charlotte
Batum to Golden State
Ezeli to Los Angeles
Noah to Minnesota
Derezon stays in Toronto
Conley leaves Memphis for San Antonio
Clarkson, Harkless and Fournier are offered BIG money as Restricted Free Agents forcing their current teams to match, only 1 goes to another Team…
They’ll be at least 1 Sign and Trade deal done, most likely candidate at the moment, Ryan Anderson to Detroit

festar35ParticipantDwight Howard to Dallas Mavericks – Makes a lot of sense to me and should help acquire another key free agent IMO. Mike Conley joins Dwight in Dallas – Now there is a strong likely hood that he stay in Memphis, but I think he will see the opportunity in Dallas with Dwight, Dirk and Mark Cuban being a guy who is willing to spend large to win.
Kent Bazemore to Indiana Pacers – He would be the perfect fit in Indiana along with Teague who he already knows and George who is an unreal talent. 3 and D is what the Pacers need in a starting 2-guard Bazemore is all of that.
Ryan Anderson to Washington Wizards – There have been rumblings and I think it is a great fit for both parties, Anderson would get paid well and reap the benefits of playing along with one of the best play makers in the NBA.
Harrison Barnes to Brooklyn Nets – They traded Young and have a lot of cap-room. Barnes has experienced a lot in his young career including a title, I think he views this as an opportunity to see what he is capable of and Brooklyn would offer that chance.
Nicolas Batum to GSW – He replaces Barnes basically, I know he had a great season in Charlotte but Williams, Jefferson and Lin will not all be returning and GSW would be too enticing to pass up.
Lance Stephenson to Dallas Mavericks – Kid has all the talent in the world and Carlisle is the guy that could get it out of him. He could be a very good piece of the 2nd unit as a primary ballhandler and I think it would be a short team option deal. (If Indiana still had G.Hill I would have put money on a return)

D7H7NParticipantGetting Nick Batum would be around the same price as getting Kevin Durant for the Warriors. They would have to move Iggy or Bogut in order to make room since they can’t go over the cap because they don’t have his bird rights. The most sensible move would just match any offer for Harrison Barnes to go over the cap and save any trouble that involves moving any of their key role players.

220ParticipantWith the emergence of Justice Winslow and Josh Richardson in Miami, I can imagine they let Luol Deng walk especially since they’d like to save money for Hassan Whiteside and any other big name Pat Riley could woo.
