llperezA great matchup tommorow at 7pm pacific time. Both teams are 7-0 and ranked top 10. Should be great to see who takes that step to show they are national contenders right now. I havent seen FLorida yet, but Zona’s best player this year so far has been sophomore Nick Johnson who is averaging 14 points, 4 assists, 3 rebounds and shooting 55%fg.
Who do you gys like?

Chilbert arenasParticipantThe crowed in Tuscon will get behind the Cats, Nick Johnson needs much more national attention, one of the best athletes in college basketball with an unmatched swagger and competitive edge. Also Zonas front line is massive and Lyons was a huge addition.

JNixonParticipantI got UF, the xfactor will be Mike Rosario. Boynton and Erik Murphy are going to get their shots from the perimeter. Rosario is gonna have to be smart about the shots he takes because Lyons is gonna defend him tough and force him into lower % looks. It will interesting to see Boynton run the point against a team with good guards tho, from a prospect perspective too

SiggyParticipantI’ll take Florida. They’re playing like a well-oiled machine. They’ve also played the better schedule and aren’t just beating good teams, they’re steamrolling them.

Dale WorthingtonParticipantIf Arizona loses, they are in deep doody!
Check this: they don’t have a single ranked team on the schedule from here on out (Florida is the only team on their entire schedule who is ranked in the top 25)! However, teams like UCLA, Oregon, Colorado, Cal, and Oregon State could crack the top 25 at some point this season.

llperezWow, what a game. Florida blew a 6 point lead in the final minute by not taking care of the ball. Zona hustled all game though. Loved the confidence zonas guys had late in the game not afraid to make plays. Nick Johnson was once again the best tonight IMO, lots of great plays on defense.

Puregreen5ParticipantGreat game tonight! Arizona won 65-64, with Mark Lyons right handed layup at the end of regulation. Nick Johnson, Hill, Jerrett, also had good/great games for the Wildcats. Here are my pics from tonights game, sorry that they aren’t the greatest:
