 Has anyone been watching this show since Max Kellerman replaced Skip Bayless? Max Kellerman might have been the wrong hire for this show because he is way too bright for Stephen A. and Molly Qerim. The guy brings up very great points and intelligent insight in almost every debate and just gets tagged team or yelled at off the stage by Stephen A. I find the show very unwatchable because it’s just cringe worthy how bad Max is treated on the set.

Does anyone have an alternative that I could watch from 10-12 on weekdays? Because this show is really in the dump now.

Well…im guessing if you like 1st Take and draftnet, you’re a fan of the sports debate genre.

Therefore, perhaps dvr a couple of hours of Mike & Mike. 

That is some quality television programming, right there.

 I watch a lot of russilo&kannell. I work from home so I’m constantly on every ESPN channel. Hahaha as long as it isn’t his or hers I can stand it.

 No matter the point Max makes, Stephen A does the same silly thing everytime, he sits there with a scoff on his face, says, "Now Max I like you, but THAT IS BLASPHEMOUS", no matter the point, no matter the validity of the argument, Stephen A has to scream and yell and tell his cohost theyre a buffoon. I don’t understand how this show still gets viewers, he will always go completely off base. The other day Max made a perfectly reasonable statement that Russ could be the next in the line of Kobe and MJ in terms of that Alpha, I’m going to score this ball down your throat every possession. Then Stephen A sits there, doing his scoff face, "LET ME STOP YOU RIGHT THERE MAX KELLERMAN, RUSS HAS NO CHIPS! NO CHIPS! NO CHIPS NO CHIPS NO CHIPS NO CHIPS!", whilst Max sits their, as does the audience, thinking, in what world did I say he had, and what does my point have to do with championships? Stephen A is a clown

 I agree that Stephen A is being entirely too dramatic whenever he speaks or Max speaks.  Stephen A always acts as if it’s implausible for anything that Max says to be correct. However, what annoys me most about the show right now is Molly.  She’s a beautiful woman, but I don’t think she’s the right person for this job. She has very poor timing whenever she wants to add her insight on topics and when she does give her opinion, it usually lacks much substance.  I’m aware that her job description is more so to mediate the debates, but she’s not even good at that.  She has no control over Stephen A and seems as if she does not know how to demand the respect to do so.  Too many times I have seen Stephen A talk for 5-10 minutes straight and Molly try to get someone’s take or go to break, but he continues to talk over her.  Demanding respect and controlling the debates is what Cari Champion was great at during her time on First Take. Molly hasn’t reached that level, yet and I’m not sure that she will.  

Nevertheless, First Take will remain one of my favorite shows, because of the topics that they talk about.  I don’t care too much for their actual sports’ opinion, but I do appreciate the topics that they talk about like Colin Kaepernick actions, the Brock Turner case, Ryan Lochte, etc.  Topics like this are hard to talk about with many people, because you never know how emotional or strongly opionated they may be.  First Take is a professional platform for sports debate starring Stephen A’s "barbershop talk" approach and unapolegitic, yet respectable takes, Max’s intelligience, and Molly’s…beauty?  I hate say that her appearance is all she brings to the table, but IMO all she provides is eye candy right now and the show would be better if she was a better mediator and host.

Max was saying that he’s going to tell his daughters they have to be responsible & look out for themsleves 

& Molly nearly lost her mind b/c how dare he restrict his daughters…..

I could not stand Skip Bayless but I have to admit I never noticed how dumb they all were until Max showed up. His points make Way too much sense.

I Like SAS but he’s letting Molly w/ her 2” thick make up mask intimidate him & it’s really bad television

Ive seen and heard some unfortunate and explosive allogations about prominent black figures in recent months. Eg Barrack and Michelle Obama, Serena Williams and Stephen A Smith.

Willie D from Ghetto Boys was very harsh on Charles Barkley and Stephen A Smith in a recent track.

I just dont know what to believe. I have serious concerns about Dark Skinned Aussie players and the racism they may be exposed to given the current situation in America.
