I agree. When they played the Wizards a couple of nights ago, I was like "WTF did Davis only play 12 minutes and Evan played way more?" Triano is terrible at player development.
But hey, I heard Colangelo is thinking about extending him, and he's a great tank commander, so maybe you guys will have a chance at Andre Drummond in 2013!
I like what he's doing actually by not just handing Davis and Amir Johnson minutes on a plate and instead making them compete for playing time with Evans. The Raptors are a terrible team becasue of their talent, not because Triano is ruining them. Coaching means nothing if you don't have the right players to win games with in the first place.
I agree coaches arent the ones putting the basketball in the hoop but I still think with the season winding down its time to play the younger guys more and see what they're made of. And to your point about having the right players , the raps need to lose in order to get the right players cuz no one wants to sign in Toronto unless they are european.
This guy is the worst coach in the NBA by far. This team has nothing to play for yet because he wants to save his job he bench's Ed Davis and plays him only 12 mins. Instead he plays scrubs like Evans. He's messing up our draft spot. Play the kids dammit!!!!
