Hi its BenParticipantDisagree. No way the Spurs lose all 3 of their home games. I actually think the Spurs win this series.

joe2324Participantlet me know if you agree or disagree.
Miami wins series in 5.
Wins HUGE tonight in game 2 and wins 3 straight close games to wrap up the series for a 2nd straight title. I think lebron comes aggressive tonight offensively and defensively to set the tone. I see Bosh and Wade have a bigger impact. too much for the spurs to handle. I despise the heat, but no matter what they always prove me wrong. I’m hoping the Spurs sweep or win the series, but I just dont see this happening.0 - Posted on: Sun, 06/09/2013 - 7:00am #793522
BenchWarmerParticipantI predicted Miami in 5 and still have Miami but Parker is a handful. I think T-Mac said something about how Lebron wouldnt be as successful in the 90’s as he is today (hoopshype), which I believe is not smart. Great players draw motivation from anything.

FutureNBAGMParticipantI think Miami wins tonight but Spurs arent getting swept 3 straight on their home floor. I say Miami in 7. One thing Ive learned over the last 15 years: Never EVER count out the Spurs.

AsparagusParticipantMIA will win game 2. But SAS will win the series. Experience and Depth is the advantage of SAS and they also have Popovich on the sideline.

CavFanPRParticipantI give the edge to San Antonio. They’re a smart, experienced team and will not let any opportunity slip away. This is their last chance so that is a big enough motivation.

417basketballfanParticipantI like the spurs in any close game. Not sure how the series will play out but the spurs are the best at closing games out.

llperezMiami hasn’t overly impressed me in any series so far. I dont think it’s as simple as just turning it on whenever they want. Theres lots of offensive possesions where guys are standing around and it seems as if they dont kniw what they want to get out of the play. Wade going 1 on 1. Bosh on the elbow. Or just let lebron do it all. And all those threes that couldnt miss last season arent falling this year. The spurs play smart disciplined ball and have great shooters all over the court. I predicted spurs from the get go and I’m sticking with that.

doubledribblerParticipantI think what you are saying might be the biggest thing. Miami hasn’t been impressive at all. You are talking about beating the Bucks which was like getting a bye. The Bulls without Rose, Deng and Heinrich, with Noah still dealing with injuries and basically a team in Indiana that went 5 deep. I don’t care how big of an addition Chris Anderson was for them. He cannot be your 2nd most important player in any series.
I had Spurs prior to this series and I will stick with them, but Wade and Bosh are going to have to stop worrying about how many shots they get and focus on doing other things to help out Lebron. People focus a lot on Bosh’s lack of rebounding, but when Wade does score he is usually not doing much else.

SnowtaParticipantCongratulations on the bold prediction! Not really surprising that the Heat won big tonight. I would be shocked if the Heat won 3 straight in San Antonio. Everyone knows that Miami has the ability to blow teams out, but this will probably be the only game in the series that’s a blowout. A huge win in this game really doesn’t mean that much because the Spurs already stole the home court advantage in game 1. 3 close games in San An I’m still taking the Spurs in at least 2 of them. Lebron needs to stop worrying about celebrating garbage time stuffs on Tiago Splitter (he had no right trying to dunk that ball) and needs to start thinking about how he can score against this Spurs team in close games, because from what I’ve seen Kwahi has locked him down and when the games on the line you can’t count on Chalmers for buckets.
