TyroberParticipantWiggins has finally moved out of the #1 spot on here. I am not saying he should or shouldn’t be the #1 overall pick because he very well could end up being just that but with so many talented players in the 2014 it is impossible for him to stay at #1 without being AMAZING. So far we can see his potential, but he is not playing like we all thought he would. We all know the draft is based mostly off potential and he still has a great shot to go #1 overall, but he does not look like the #1 pick thus far. I just hated seeing him being #1 no matter what and I thank you Aran for finally moving him out of the top spot.

Lafferty DanielParticipantWouldn’t be surprised if he still goes #1 after the combine, unless Utah gets the 1st pick.

TyroberParticipantI wouldn’t be a bit surprised if he goes #1 at all either. I am a huge fan of Wiggins, but what I am trying to say is with the way everyone is currently playing there is no concensus #1 pick at the moment and keeping Wiggins there simply because he was there last week isn’t fair to the other players.

joecheck88ParticipantOk move him from the top spot. Only Jabari Parker could really take that spot from Wiggins. To put an even more raw player at 2 above Wiggins is insane. My opinion but I’m a real strong Wiggins supporter. So that’s what I think. I’m still taking Wiggins 1 and we may just have a top 5 pick next year too but I think Wiggins has way too much talent not to be successful.

Lafferty DanielParticipantYeah, Embiid over Wiggins at 2 surprised me as well.
This year’s crop is definitely more interesting than last year’s, and a lot can change from now until March. Wasn’t ‘Bazz #1 on this site at this time last season?

joecheck88ParticipantI think Cody Zeller may have been 1 at this time last year. Not super sure though. Haha. I really like Embiid. May even take him top 5 depending on my team but I’m not sure about second over Wiggins. Let alone Smart or Randle. Maybe it’s just the history of raw big men taken high. Never seems to workout.

Darth DivacParticipantA lot of people don’t remember that when Hakeem first came in to the League, "post game" was a foreign word to him. Sure, he averaged 20/10, but it was like Dwight Howard 20/10. The post game didn’t come around until much later on in his career. Now, bear with me here. I realize that Embiid is a different situation and doesn’t have that kind of talent, but sometimes, projects can work out. Hakeem was a project, as were many other greats. KG, Webber, Shaq, Ewing-all of these guys came in to the league as raw athletes. Keep that in mind when thinking about Embiid.

Chilbert arenasParticipantEmbiid over Wiggins at this point shocks me. People are overreacting on small sample sizes so far.

BogDon_KryptParticipantI say Wiggins drops out of top 5 before its all said and done:
1) Parker
2) Smart
3) Randle
4) Embid
5) Exum
6) Wiggins

jwall1ParticipantI think parker should have overtaken Wiggins at number one, but come on, Joel Embiid? The hype on him is ridiculous. He would be an extremely risky pick at #2 because he is very raw and may not even develop offensively. In any other draft, the risk picking him at #2 would be worth it, but IMO there are atleast 4 or 5 perennial all stars in this draft that should not be passed up on over Embiid (Smart, Wiggins, Randle for example). If it were up to me, My top 5 would be….
1. Parker
2. Smart
3. Randle
4. Wiggins
5. Embiid
This is just based on how these guys have played so far this season.. Wiggins has only shown that he has elite athleticism, but he lacks elite skill.

Mr. 19134ParticipantIf you think the Embiid hype has come from left field just wait until the Zach Lavine hype heats up. Honestly based soley off what ive saw from the few college games this year Lavine looks like he has enough talent to go first this year.if he keeps his shooting numbers up. And Embiid is only going to get better and better similar to Anthony Davis freshman year when by the end there.will be no doubt hes the top big mam prospect.
