When all the new contracts are signed Steph Curry Double and Reigning MVP will be outside of the highest 75 salaries in the NBA. With KD having a player option in 2017, it will be interesting to see how the GSW look to fit two mega deals onto their cap and possibly retain the likes of Iggy.

People were cynical when Paul Millsap got a 3 year deal at $60 million last year but with how the cap has risen, Paul has a player option for over $21 million next year he could opt out of and get an even higher deal. He’ll be 32 next summer but his former Hawks team mate Al Horford has a high deal taking him until he is 34. Paul has been canny taking shorter deals in recent years and could easily get a $25 million a year plus deal if his form holds up.

Contending teams always love good defensive players and the Bucks might have a huge trade chip in John Henson on a 4 year declining deal. If Thon Maker does pan out they may listen to offers for Henson and with a canny front office they might maximize the value they can get for him.
