NbanflguyParticipantIf you were the 76ers GM what would you do with the 2nd pick?
Would you take Turner?
Would you take Favors?
Woud you take someone else?
Would you trade it?I have heard that Turner might not be such a lock for number 2 as some people think. New coach Doug Collins is said to want management to take Favors for his amazing upside. Other teams like the Minnesota Timberwolves are rumored to be working the phones trying to blow the 76ers away with a offer.
What would you do?

JNixonParticipantPhilly needs to take Turner. Favors isn’t going to make us better, and Turner is the better player easily as it is.

Mr.Knick 32ParticipantWow. I would go with Favors.
I believe Favors is the better player. I think you can fill that SG by moving Iggy back to the 2. This Philly team has alot of pieces to move I could see them move them.
If they draft Turner, I’ll be happy either way because I get to see my favorite Sixer ( Jrue Holiday) get more PT

Raptor_BallParticipantI believe that regardless of who they pick, they will get a good player. The decision merely rests on whether they are willing to take a risk or not. Turner is already a proven talent who is sure to produce immediately upon his entrance into the Association. In fact, he is my pick for Rookie of the Year (Wall is good, but Turner will have the better first year campaign, while Wall will have the better career). However, all of these issues keep arising about whether or not he will mesh with Igoudala. The way I see it, is you let them play it through and mid way through the season you see how they progress. If it works, you keep them together, if not Iggy has got to go. On the other hand, if they draft Favors, it could take some patience before he blossoms into the player everyone expects. He will either be a bust, or an All-star, only time will tell. Either way, I think that Phillie will have a stud on their hands, but they will also eventually need to make some trades. The Dalembert one was a good start, but I think this team has some very good talent that just doesn’t work well together.Lou Williams, Jrue Holiday, Igoudala, Thaddeus Young, Elton Brand, and Favors/Turner are all solid starters in this league and could be good trade bait if the right situation were to come up. I think that with the right moves this off-season, the Sxers could definitely round back into playoff form.
